though expecting a bottom test , so breaks and hold 1.0960 to 0911 plays and more towards 0828 but bottoming effect still ok to play more bounce for the last times . just taking more time before decision and leave the range next ! take care

I dont smoke the high quality crack. To me its been going down since July 2008 high. Energy is the most expensive cost in any heavy industrial industry. Such as producing aluminum or steel. Japan, EZ, and China pay more for it. Not to mention they have to pay for shipping into the country. Then after have to pay to ship a finished product to the exported country (shipping isn't cheap). To ship a BMW, Nissan etc. to the U.S. dont make much sense cost wise. That's why BMW etc are building cars abroad. Where the most expensive cost is cheaper. Should i mention the supply chain exposed the last 2 years? (costing U.S. manufactures billions). Long story short. After the U.S. during the 2008 financial crises drop. 2009 the oil balance went back above 50% (U.S produced + 50%). That's where the USD began the slide in 1970. When the oil balance slipped below -50%. We had 50 years of oil related wars/embargos since. Today the U.S. is a slight net exporter of oil. NG exports will grow. The U.S. will be less likely to spearhead any oil war.. That will fall to those w/o energy. Such EZ country's, Japan and even China. That cost in Europe will be borrowed money. Germany has announced it will double defense spending. Russia has awakened the need for speed. Most of those NATO members will beef up defense spending. They will buy much of it from the USA. And the money to build up will be borrowed by printing. The USD is set for a rise. Maybe one back to 1970s levels. Back then the ECB members in a basket was less than 0.600.

The basket rise helped by U.S. massive spending for EZ defense (The U.S spends near 4% GDP on defense). Defense spending is not included in war spending.

The USD could easily reach the Normal 117 or higher. A Russian defeat could actually reduce defense spending. In the 1980 /the U.S. beefed up spending to outspend USSR. The USD lost value. What's there to stop its rise now? The energy wind is at the USD's back. The competition can not compete. EZ pays near double for electricity. Now they are borrowing more for defense. The USD can easily reach a supercycle in the eu like the yen. Japan on a volcano w/o energy is screwed. China will be in the same boat. Not enough energy, clean water or food for 1.4 billion.. The 1 country that has a shot to be a superpower again. With all of these gifts, is ruled by a moron. Yeah Russia..

usdx closing above 99.39 this month leaves open a shot at 102.xx.. Eu below 1898 opens more drop. below 1835 blows a hole in the floor to test 1.0721. Respectively this is 99.39 R. That fat lady hasn't song above it yet. So the opposite can be true still. All in all the fudis favor the break. Get the techs to close on the continuation side. And we got a ball game. I lean toward a bullish USD. But I need the proof in these little battles.. These S/R chance sides with the closes.. So later these may be supports.

I totally agree - on a daily chart it is clearly down and has been for years. But drill down into hourly or less and it's a mess.

EU may open with a 40-50 pip gap down. Latest quote from XE showing weekend activity. Price sitting perfectly in a 15m demand zone.

Fake random price. I don't understand how people still not see this...we are discussing XE for over a decade here...weekend prices are random...real prices show up 1-2 hours before market opens. Quick look at GU and USDCHF clearly shows the price on EU is random.

If there is a gap, more likely will be up, looking at friday's PA.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

Usdx looks already broken up, just need confirmation with monthly close around 99.06. May do by few days now!!

Here. I drilled down to the M15. Looks obvious to me, rather than a mess.

4 good selling opportunities on March 25 and one with caution (the dotted magenta line).

Why go to 15 mins?

According to the daily chart you could have gone short in August 2021 (or earlier, if you were going simply on a death cross and ignoring a head and shoulders) and your position will still be in profit today.

The technical structure and order flow context of EURUSD on the daily time frame is relatively bearish. However, presently, there is a lack of bearish momentum, and price action is sideways. Should bears restore their market influence, we would see a breakdown of the 1.08000 mini-horizontal support area (light green).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Done 0960, now daily close below 0911 +- possible. And low daily below 0900
Usdx already over 99.06, daily close most possible over 99.13 and 99.29 confirmation. Now price 99.162
