assuming we determine 6am is the close of europen session; if the lows of the two prev. sessions are tested between 6:30 and 9am, a retracement to the most recent highs from the lows, if not higher thru the next quarter following in line with bias , should be a safe buy entry from the for the next few hours following?? anyone agree

USDCAD price action on the H4 time frame is in a bullish corrective mode. However, the general technical environment still favours bears more than bulls. We may see a southward turnaround after a northward market engineering.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

The pair after being very bearish seems to have found its support at the level, where it had a bounce earlier. Since the momentum was very strong at the last move, thus the sellers may wait for the price to make a bearish breakout to go short in the pair. A bullish reversal pattern may push the price towards the North. It would be an interesting chart to keep an eye at. Considering the chart, the Bear seems to have an upper hand here. Let us wait and watch what happens next.

CAD is one of the commodity currencies! Saying this I mean since the cards in the commodity world are getting mixed new, this will be a major driver for the CAD in the weeks and month ahead.
The wise ones will know that this chance does not come often! I see a roll over forming with the initial target 1.2000 and the final target at parity again.

Of course not for tomorrow and the next week… but that might be the trend for the next 1 ˝ years. If the RBC raises the rate too, the high commodity prices will give the CAD a kick.

It is worthwhile to see the CAD as the brother of the AUD (but inverse). For example the four bear daily candles last week had their analogue in AUD (four up candles) not necessarily in tandem with EUR and GBP. This is the sign that for AUD and CAD being a commodity currency plays a role right now.

Further breakdown imminent? Or will this pair manage to find it's footing (at least temporarily)? Time will tell. I'm leaning towards breakdown, but this should be an area to keep an eye on.

Although I'm leaning towards eventual breakdown, I've decided to go long here. It doesn't look like the market is quite ready for another leg down just yet as it has been showing some strength and building support in this area over the past day or so. Most likely a short term trade. We'll see how it goes.
