The new came out and then the price jumped up, market is always on the wrong foot. The guys that bought it was thinking that this new is good for the future of Europe, I only can smell trouble.

I agree, that should have been Euro bearish too. Europe's economy is the second most affected economy by the sanctions after all. Strange price action...

No trouble at all.

For the W1 view, yes, that is a down bias. However, D1 and D2 are currently at a critical point where D1 is technically in a down continuation but D2 is attempting to make a rally. So the focus needs to be on TFs smaller than D1 to see how the direction is unfolding.

It's classic sell the rumour buy the news. Euro will likely surge when the Fed announces rate hike.

Markets are neither logical nor amenable to 'technical' analysis. Both fundamental and technical analysis really don't count for anything in FX.

Looks like the illogical jumps in EUR/USD and EUR/GBP are stopped by these supply zones. Risk off news affecting Euro bullish was not reasonable in any way. I am open to any opposing info though.

If they are illogical jumps, then logical stopping places would have no bearing on the price move.

True, but what i learned from my observations tells me that markets can stay illogical for sometime. In the end it comes down to a place where everything makes sense. So patience is the key.

I guess taking a city also leads to a potential conclusion
also no doubt the Fed will let the market down on the back of the convenient environment later in the week

I am assuming that "it" means "price".

When price comes down to a place where everything makes sense, how do you discern between this being a place that logic now prevails (everything makes sense) versus simply a another random/illogical place that has that "sensible" appearance through simple coincidence, not because it actually is?

I just mean that in short term liquidity hunts etc. happen but in the longer term price just goes to where it logically needs to go.
