This is the price action (below 1400) when ECB changed view for inflation expectations to sticky and then the rates jumped up. US from the other droped the bets of a 0.50% points rise to 0.25% at March.

Ukraine vs Russia war wasn't out on the news yet, but now the things are different, EU CPI prices forecasting a stagflation in Europe where the war actually is happening.

Usdx able breaks but no hold for today and little bounce may to tank next day. Eu, gu better further fall for better support to jump too.
Eu likely breakout at 0959 for 0934 ot even down possible.

It's consolidating sideways at the moment but I think the move south will likely continue.

I would expect continued sideways consolidation until after the Wednesday FED announcement of the USA interest rate hike.

People are expecting a paltry 0.25% rate hike - it's like peeing in the ocean; no effect

However, people can't discount a 0.50% rate hike - still will have limited effect except on the housing market.

Finally until the fighting is over there really is no reason to hold Euro's as the EZ is going to pay higher for energy and that will push them into recession.
...because you never know - until you do!

The pair has been choppy this week so far. It seems that it is traded within two horizontal levels. A breakout above may attract the buyers to go long and push the price towards the North. On the other hand, a bearish breakout may drive the price towards the South. Considering both charts, it seems that the buyers may have an upper hand and slightly ahead of the sellers. Let us wait and watch what happens next.

That up bias is H2 making an up continuation to complete the H8 up swing.

What i don't understand is Euro jumped because of the news about Russia taking over Kherson. But isn't that risk off news? Something is fishy. Dollar should have jumped on this news.

as war in one way , no further spread the fear almost gone . so not reacting like before , so as of normal pump and dump people successfully using it .
usdx successfully broken 98.72 level and likely tank continue next having ranges arounds for 97.54 perhaps .tl 98.38 levels ranges possible

If you are a speculator, then no. If you look for more solid directional confirmation, then yes, because not even M5 is in a down trend yet.
