i'm long @ 39150....trailing stop @ BE+25...TP MedianPrice 540 (min 38800 crossed 39170 = +370 -> 39540)

Interestingly, after I entered the long price made a pullback to the middle line of the CMA 128 channel. If I had changed it that would be a resistance rather than this pullback. Makes you wonder when and where you should change the angles.

A trouble for you please to clarify two things:
1. You use SentientTrader(ST) for some of your charts with CMAs. Looking at ST "averages" settings, there are only two MA choices "simple" or "exponential" with X bars backwards offset. So are you in reality using Simple MA offset backwards, rather than true Center MA (which would otherwise automatically not extend to the last bar, because of the way it must be calculated? (easy example: -sorry if I assume -

2. In your post #6908 you refer to "In the 1987 crash, the downward move formed a focal point in hourly centered moving averages and several months later, the montnly and weekly centered moving averages came through that same price". I have thought this through a lot, and studied it with examples of your 5 CMA method on my own daily and hourly matching charts.
In these I can see how the hourly CMAs form a focal point much earlier than the daily, but these are often close together in time so please explain your observation "several months later"and how you could make use of this phenomenon in a swing trade - I think I get it but I would like the Master to explain so I am not so foolish
