Here's the current TE of a successful trader who claims to "trade full time for a living"



FF does not honor requests to have your membership voluntarily revoked. If your membership was revoked it was because you seriously violated the code of conduct. This is not the first time Tech went on a profane rampage but it was his last.

I dont trust this movement, its just weird all the way since 1.1400

I find it disturbing that people are speaking so well of him, and acting like it is an offense that his membership was revoked, when he was known for being extremely rude and abusive towards others. It's weird.

Thanks for your explanation, when you say it like that it makes sense, but in fact, i dont follow fundamentals, PA speaks for fundamentals too, and they are very often priced in, big guys often use them to go against and then turn around like crazy. So i focus more on psychology and PA than other things. And this movement even over your explanation doesnt look right to ME. I believe it makes to you. Thanks anyway.

I also focus on PA and psychology, but I find that fundamentals is making those 2 things easier. I have a hard time right now though gauging the impact of some news events and exactly how it affects PA, because like you said, it can be priced in too It's a tricky thing i'm trying to figure out at the moment. Like EU earlier, I knew it would drop but definitely not all the way down to 1.08xx. My target was 1.099xx. Anyway I still got some pips though, so i'm not complaining!

This is something connected to the pandeminc, more than the office itself. The goverment got to make choices like give money to people in need, that cant make living due to the pandemic restrictions (doesnt matter if they owned businnes or just could not make a regular jobs). This is not only US local thing.. it happens everywhere. I live in Czech Republic and the same happens here. You may say its more fitting to the goverment that focus on social needs, but in fact, there was no other choice if you dont want hundreds and thousands of people dying or living in poverty during pandemic. So in the end, others are "donating" to those whose were hit hardest, and its called inflation.

Hey buddy, sorry for the late response. Was busy all day and didn't want to just whip up a substandard response, as I've seen others do in this thread regarding SnD.

Supply and Demand appears and is relevant on all timeframes. The market is fractal in nature, meaning the logic that works on one timeframe will also work on all timeframes. This goes from the monthly down to the 1 second.

This is always the hardest thing for people to learn, myself included. It all depends which way the trend is going, and if you're either looking to follow it on the same timeframe, or trying to identify a reversal because you see the larger institutional structure.

The first one is easy and pretty straightforward, which was what I did last night. Structure on that timeframe (1m) was bullish, so all I did was mark up the demand zones whenever they were created, and bought. But sometimes it doesn't come back to a zone you've marked, and will pause at another zone created in the middle of structure. So it might help to look for hidden divergence to see if it's valid. I found renewed faith in hidden divergence last night, and plan to continue using it on the lower timeframes where price movement is more chaotic. I will likely backtest it first. Hidden divergence (or regular divergence) will also help give you a hint of when structure will fail and a reversal is imminent.

The proper way to catch a reversal in an SnD zone is to zoom in and look for confirmation. Either a Wyckoff schematic - accumulation or distribution, or any other confirmation you like - general break of structure (engulfing candle with a retest), or your choice of indicator, but you need to do it on a lower timeframe. So if you're looking at the daily then you should zoom into the 1H to see if any of the above confirmation is present. If you're looking at the 1H then zoom into the 5m or 2m or lower.

I love using Wyckoff in combination with structure and SnD. It's extremely powerful. Couldn't use Wyckoff last night because I was already on the lowest timeframe available to me, but I wasn't looking for reversals only continuations. Eventually I'm going to upgrade my Tradingview so I can use the seconds charts. I know guys who literally trade off the 1s and 5s charts and score unreal RR.

Here's an example below to illustrate what you would do at an SnD (supply in this case), if looking to see if it'll hold for a reversal. You'd look at the daily, then the 1H, or if you wanted to get deeper for even more confirmation, look at the 5m. (It was annoying trying to do this in MS Paint, making exploded views ). From EU in the second week of February. We were speculating if the supply zone would hold or fail. I believed it would hold because structure did not break, it only wicked. Looks like I was correct and it went through a Wyckoff distribution on the 1H, and here we are today. The 1H distribution was one of the cleanest I've seen. The 5m one was ugly as shit, but it still delivered.

One more thing about SnD zones and how to trade them. The worst thing you can do is try to buy every single demand and sell every single supply you see with limit orders, if the trend is going in the opposite direction. That's called blindly trying to pick a bottom or top, and it's usually a prayer for draining your account. Something I know you don't want to experience again.

There are a lot of pretenders who try to sound like authorities on Supply and Demand, because they learned it five minutes ago and think they're masters. Classic Dunning and Kruger, and those people are often referred to as "dumb smart money". Don't listen to them. You can't learn shit from amateurs who prance around with their red diamonds acting like trading gurus, while only offering surface level generic information. Learn from experienced people like I did. There are a lot of resources available on YouTube alone. You won't learn overnight, but with practice and dedication (and extensive testing) you will learn, and it will strengthen your trading tenfold when you combine it with fundamentals like Tech did.

He is very precise, which is something I appreciate. He is also a good teacher, as he explains things in a simple way.

One very important thing to remember when trading Supply and Demand is to understand that when price closes above the high of a supply zone, or below the low of a demand zone, the zone becomes invalid. I missed a big move recently by falsely assuming a supply zone was invalidated because its high was penetrated by the wick of a candle. I had the zone correct, but the rule was wrong. Had I allowed it to play out, I could have gained hundreds of pips with minimal risk. So be sure to keep this rule in mind when trading supply and demand.

Also, supply and demand traders usually put a stop loss at the high of supply or the low of demand. As you can see, that is not the best thing to do, as a wick can take you out, and then price could move in the direction you were trading. I think it is better to use the ATR for the time frame you are trading, multiplied by 2. This is just a suggestion. You can place your stop wherever you want, of course.

I am also of the opinion that zones on higher time frames are more reliable.

I learned a valuable lesson from my mistake.

It's best to start from the beginning and work your way forward rather than at the end. The thread starter Redsword11 disappeared sometime in 2011 or 2012 so a lot of what comes after he left is of diminishing quality.
