Whilst this is true, and very true, you didn't address Windstrown's post. With the geopolitical risks supply and demand are useless. See the Euro falling through every suport known to man. When things normalise then supports can start working perfectly. When USDCHF dumped over 2000 pips in one day those tech supports were useless. So he is right: a good trader knows when to suspend his fancy lines and angles and just go with the flow or stay out completely.

Supply and demand zones are not the same as fancy support and resistance lines. Without supply and demand, there is no market. Supply and demand will always be useful. It is necessary.

Of course it can give you success, but knowing where the correct supply and demand and which ones will react is no easy task...

No doubt. However, my point is that the usual places you could expect supply or demand by examining historical data on the chart (and I am not referring to support and resistance since they are not exactly the same with S &D) get messed up. Imagine the Russian Ruble or the Rurkish lira crashing the gates. Supports are crushed and demand is completely absorbed; resistances are blasted through and supply is completely absorbed.

We tech traders like to think it is everything, but it is not. In real geopolitical crisis those terms get raped in real life and on the charts.

It's not that complicated. You only need to know how to find them. The market will tell you the rest. The key to supply and demand is using higher time frames, such as the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. The higher the time frame, the stronger the zone.

very tough to deal but some longs there now to workout , limit up for down 1.1009, early signal uop 1.0943/0956/0972 before final signal 1009 if . likely it may go further down without much correction . anyway weakness at the strength may apply . once be , ok take care

There will be situations where crazy things happen, but such events don't make trading supply and demand any less effective. As long as there is a market, supply and demand will exist. If a zone doesn't hold, then try the next one. And by the way, zones can also be used as take profit targets in strongly trending markets.

I just want to correct something. Looks like everyone got it wrong. Tech wanted to get his membership revoked, it wasn't like "kicked out" kind of a ban.

Anyways, FF lost a successful trader even if people liked him or not. His insights and analysis were good and helpful. That's all i am saying. We can stop now.

Is that what he told you? Unless you hear it from Twee, don't believe it. But even if it is true that he got his membership revoked upon request, it does not change the fact that FF is a little better now that he isn't around to bully people.
