Good day traders!

EU is consolidating its fall, above 1144 high 1190 is next resistance and below 1057, 1017/1000 zone is next.

US initial jobless claims & ISM services are the main events, but I wait comments from Powell and Ukraine to take clues for the next move. Volatility is lower, but it will come back.

I am trading currently a strategy where i earn swap.
The strategy idea is very easy, i have 2 brokers which pay different swap, one broker is iC Markets the other broker is Octafx, now IC Markets pay me much swap for some exotic currencys and the other broker takes little bit swap or also is swap free.
So i earn every day some swap on my open trades and i hedge the trades between this 2 brokers.
I also have code a EA which does monitor both broker account and which tells me to make rebalance money on the account when needed or he can also close trades if he see that the hedge is not open anymore.
My question for you is if you find this strategy save or if you would have problem to use that, maybe you dont trust the brokers or do you see any other problems which can happen?

I also did open a own topic but moderator move it to tradeing journal and i dont find people with more experience hoe say something to it.
I did think here in this topics more people with experience do discuss and could see it and say something what they think.

I trade trends with swings. Downtrends are a series of LLs and LHs. Impulse leads to LLs in downtrend. Correction leads to LHs and is the pullback and is where one looks for trading opportunities if trend trading. There are major swings and minor swings in trends. Some have difficulty with this and get mixed up with multi time frame shenanigans trying to find "the trend" when it's right there on the time frame. A MACD can assist with trading opps but shouldn't be relied on solely. PA reversals at pullbacks with MACD cross is helpful. Nothing works 100% so SLs protect capital.

Trend lines help keep you out of trouble. The TLs on the 20 min trend below will keep you out of trouble. Don't go long until price breaks and confirms trending above an established TL. Buying in this market is really just catching a knife IMHO.

Here's some price action I frequently use to get into a trade.

The left red arrow points to a bull bar. In the context of the overall trend on the 20 min chart it is usually a mistake to get long on something like this just like that huge bar to the left likely lured some into longs. Later the next red arrow points to a bear bar that takes out the previously mentioned bull bar. Notice the MACD cross occurs before the bear candle but there is no PA with the cross to support selling. The occurrence of the bear bar takes out previous bull effort and is the kind of opportunity I look for selling in this environment.

The Euro is in serious trouble, but price can't go down forever. I believe EURUSD is due for a pullback. Pay attention to the red rectangle.

Maybe using a smoother viewpoint would help you.
The 2 gold verticals are demarcating the same time span on both TFs.

Much of what is available to study about multi-TFs is indeed "shenanigans". But with a bit more study, one can see that the correction on a higher TF is a TREND on some smaller TF. This enables trading both impulse and corrective moves back-to-back, if the setup conditions are met.

Minor swings on a higher TF are typically smaller TFs that failed to follow through on an attempted trend reversal.

Many use time frames like another indicator.

IMHO flipping back and forth between time frames searching for something to validate one's opinion on another time frame explains many a trader's failure.

That's not to say that one shouldn't examine other time frames. Personally and at least for now I like 20 minutes but my trading entries have zero to do with what is going on, on any other time frame.

But when it comes to trading it is my humble opinion that trade entry should be based solely on one time frame.
