100%. The guy was loud and had a mouth on him, but he was very obviously ahead of the curve than the average trader here. I hope he calms himself and joins FF again. Honestly I owe a lot of my skill development to the readings he (and some others) basically assigned me.

At least from my perspective as a beginner, he led me to some lucrative breakthroughs in my trading strategy and psychology. If you ignore his attitude and most of the vulgar argumentative stuff he tries to start, his calls are fairly accurate and rooted in macroeconomics. It's appealing to me because it's a combined approach of fundamentals, TA, and tracking down exactly what the big financial institutions are doing.

Look at EU guys. He's literally been correct for more than 1 month. Maybe even longer than that.

I followed Techanalyst because I respected his knowledge of market structure and supply/demand, and more recently his fundamental analysis. I was following along with his positions in spring of 2021 and targeting some crazy high TP, then saw him chime in and say "I'm getting out at this supply zone", and instinctively I did the same. Good thing I did because it reversed immediately after he got out. I had only a loose understanding of these things back then. Overall he had credibility about him that few others do on here, evidenced by the times he showed screenshots of his profits. Search back to his posts in spring of last year and you'll see. It's clear he was and is trading for a living.

I know he was combative with some people, maybe he just had a short fuse or a low tolerance for bullshit. I always looked at it as being part of his persona. The tissue boxes were hilarious and never got old. I didn't always like or agree with the things he said, (especially beating up daytrading and other members), but still respected him. This is weird, it feels like a eulogy.

Interesting to note, his profile page says he joined FF in 2020 yet he has posts going back to 2012. Strange. I too hope he cools off and comes back one day. I believe, (according to his recent posts), his ban was self-requested so maybe Twee is holding the door open for him to come back. Who knows.

Yeah forreal, it does feel like a eulogy. He explained it before in another post that his join date was the result of some system change to his account, but he's been here for years.

He only ever lashed out at people who derailed discussions wildly into political or personal territory, the man just wanted to talk trade ideas. And if his absence and the recent comments of others is any proof, the thread is worse off with one less rational (albeit angry) person.

EDIT: Since Suthmo is literally saying I'm Techanalyst and that I'm "sucking my own dick", just google Suthmo's name. A few quick google searches and you'll see the depths of this man's delusion, I kid you not. Anyone new to forex or FF should avoid him at all costs.

It's fine if you disagree with me. My point is that he provided a strong counterpoint that encouraged discussion in the thread. If it weren't for him and a few others, this thread would still be a cesspool of political arguments and people posting news articles from extremely dubious sources. Without him, there are less voices to counter the more extreme ones here.

Suthmo has proven time and time again that he's an offensive moron, like the time he said my government is killing my grandma. I choose not to take him seriously, but insults like his most recent one are a little too far. Again, I encourage anybody to google Suthmo

I'm long at the moment also, but only til 1.114xx - 1.115xx. May ride it longer if I see enough bullish momentum, although DXY is losing steam and due for a correction/retracement. I'll keep a closer eye on it.
