Don't need to fill that gap for weeks or months. First have to hit the lows.

To fill it now would break the wave count going down.

Next gap up was 1299?

1258 88% pullback in current range...

Never say never.

For the downside... Bear Gartley 61.8 A-B to 78% C-D... Could send her down nicely.

This video is for amateurs. The arrogant commentator wants to sell mentorships, so he needs to sound snarky and matter-of-fact because people like that.

The Russia-Ukraine conflict was clearly priced in, that explains the sudden reversals in the indices and pauses in commodities. I'm assuming you know what priced in means. Big banks were getting in weeks before, as Putin's actions were clearly telegraphed, and unloaded their positions when smaller banks and retail were panic buying/selling. You can clearly see the huge liquidity grabs on the day of the actual invasion. That was banks releasing liquidity by matching their closing orders with everyone else's opening orders, and at the same time initiating new orders in the opposite direction.

Not technical analysis. It was market manipulation based on the fundamentals. Master stroke by the big banks, as usual.

German CPI and US ISM manufacturing are todays main releases, but Ukraine-Russia should gain more attention.

Here is a view of EURUSD higher TFs from MN1 to Y3.

I rarely include future price targets because the price where a swing finally stops is of low importance for me. Rather, I simply look for confirmation that a swing has turned and then look for entries in the new direction.

Smaller TFs are making rallies to the Y3 down swing. Although Y1.5 is showing some pressure for reversing Y3, the MN8 is due to fall in a down continuation. This view is supported by the current MN1 (and MN2, not displayed) down swing. Of course, there will be opportunities to buy rallies as well on smaller TFs, but the "big direction" currently remains down.

Good question. I'm going to dig into it, in the mean time if anyone can shed a light on that please do.

My initial uneducated opinion is that CBDC just reduces the expenses of transactions and nothing more. There will still be ups and downs and the market will need liquidity.

I don't think anyone can say when with certainty. But we are in a new month, so it is likely it will be filled sometime this month, as a retracement usually occurs each month.
