It is good to see moderators have finally done the right thing to revoke the membership of one of the most abusive people I have encountered in these forums. Let this be a lesson to those who have a habit of mistreating others.

Dear Alex,

I'll give you MY PERSONAL 0.25 cents based on years of trading Forex

Most people have difficulty trading just off news alone ( I know I don't anymore) because it is usually a "news event" that is the trigger for either the beginning or end of a chart pattern that has already been in play.

The problem with trading off of news is this - is YOUR interpretation the correct one?

Bad economic news for the USA will be met with EUR/USD gains because some will interpret that to mean LESS FED raises

Good economic news for the USA means more rate hikes so that spooks the markets and means risk off.

Now throw a war into the mix and it gets so confusing - patterns that were working don't anymore and vice versa.
...because you never know - until you do!

I believe a good trader should analyze the market from both a technical and a fundamental perspective.

Same here. Just waiting for the gap to fill and then go from there. Talks between Russia and Ukraine were a joke, and as expected have broken off. So much uncertainty that it's better to remain in cash for now.

Maybe I'll look at a JPY pair this evening.

Russian deaths outpace the U.S. 20 years (2,401) in Afghanistan.
Russian death total is nearing Iraq War's U.S. deaths (4,431).

In the fog of war. The Russian deaths (3,500) may be wrong. When you look at some of the video. They may be right. If true, that may be a big problem for Putin.
