If I may offer my tuppence worth on Fib levels....

.....they 'work', when the trade location is well chose based on a bunch of other factors, and just so happen to align with key market structure and levels.....in which case, you would be as well just basing your entries and TP's on key market structure and levels....especially if you miss a wagon load of good entries cos u insist in sitting on some dumb fib level instead of placing your entry where your entry needs to be, like I do.

WITH THAT SAID....Often when trading pivots/reversals if your logical SL is going to get RINSED only for the market to then whizz off in your direction, the market will usually stall out somewhere in between 100%-114%, with 114% being a common harmonic pattern ratio. So for placing SL on on a pivot trade, I put it somewhere behind the 114% level.....123% to be precise, and the majority of the times that price is going to dickfuck the logical structure SL, and then run on and hit your target, then the 123% level will keep your SL well out of the way of all MM shenanigans and algo dickfuckery....Naturally, having such a wide berth for the SL cuts down the RR by a lot.....and there is also the danger that you end up just looking to leave your trade with a small profit if/when the logical SL gets run out...like I do, all the fkn time.

Looked again at the daily chart and bulls gave besrs upper cut yesterday with that come back. Then I looked at sentiment analysis: 43% buyers vs 57% sellers. Usually the herd will get hurt. Then I looked at the chart and since there was a liquidity grab below yesterday with immediate "hot stove" effect (that is the quick reaction from off the bottom yesterday) I have decided to go long. I wanted a better price, but there is strong enough reason for an upward move.
