Definitely a level to watch out for. Having done so I've noticed an ICT Fair Value Price gap between May and July 21. We got to go smooth over a uneven price gap in the month of June last year.
1904 to 1979 needs a second coat of paint maybe. Also Nov 21 did not fill in evenly. Got gap from 1387 going up to 1521.

Personally i"m not a gap guy for risking money. there was a gap on the usd/cad that took 30 years to fill. If you talking about filling a gap at 1904 and 1979. You can count me out. Price has dipped to 1.1120, That's more scratch than i have. Waiting for it to fill plus swap. Is not something i care not to do. It's not something i can afford to do. I will stick with the oil tax Europe pays, and the inability to compete because of it. On that alone the euro has to move closer to parody or less. That gap widened when the U.S became a net importer of oil about 1970. Yes the gold standard was removed then too. The euro basket breaks down to about 0.5 back then (1970), that included the GBP (2. exchange rate). Since brexit the GBP 2.x is not included. The U.S, is now slightly a net exporter. It has to be shipped to Europe. The product made has to be shipped back. That 2X in shipping cost. Europe exports to GDP is 4x the U.S. I haven't touched tourism, But you can see where this is headed. If the ECB can bullshit people that's fine. Inflation is high in the U.S., and amplified in Europe. But if one thinks by raising prices to European products via a rate hike God Bless You. Sure they need to say it. And all those future laid off tourism and BMW workers will have something to say. But hey, the French will love the inflated food prices. Even in the best of times Bubba cant afford either. The Fed is raising Bubba's interest rate. How much discretionary income is left for a Beamer or a trip to Paris. I dont know the answer, but after covid comes this. How can this possibly end well?
