Ukraine matter is obviously adding to that pressure on the risky assets, but cryptos are falling since November, S&P was ranging during November-January, these assets were going to crash sooner or later, Ukraine matter just speeded up that process.

Getting out with 40+ pips from my earlier short at 1.132xx. I still feel like it will go down some, but with my skill level, I have no idea how to trade USD during FOMC and a possible geopolitical crisis I'll stay on the safe side.

Closed a trade I had open from 1466, weekly support, or a lower price around 1250 now may decide until FOMC tomorrow.

Ukraine is giving less hopes to bulls.

In search for a new entry level after I see higher prices and only! Never get in on support, or at low prices, thats my rule of thumb.

Redistribution continues. I see we've made the SOW today, a bit sooner than I thought it would happen. I thought there would be a push up first, but I guess not. I'm not going to forecast the rest with lines, it's a pointless exercise to try to force a schematic. Just take it day by day.

If the FOMC news is what we expect tomorrow, then I think price will clear this weekly demand.

As you probably already know, the US Dollar is a major safe haven currency. Really hard to say though...all types of things to consider some of which I dont even want to think about. You may get initial strength but then weakness. JPY is also a safe haven currency.

Obviously the size of war matters.

You can see here, the latest largest war (2020 Image). Afghanistan 2001 and IRAQ 2003.

EURUSD - Trend continuation but nothing meaningful or noticeable on the chart until the higher low and higher high started happening which was dollar week through the long periods of this war.

DXY - Same time period, Initial dollar strength and then a sell off.

If a war happens, it will happen. I can only recommend applying solid money management, as you should be on all trades anyway.

Hey Bones, i have a question. An honest one though it is not rhetorical.

Do candlestick patterns really work? I saw a lot of people using them, and i saw one of my favourite economists using that too. Do they really help though? For timing the trade etc.
