Sorry to crosspost this from Cable Update. Just sharing my thoughts on Cable for next week

For GU I expect us to be bullish going into next week. We're on daily demand and approaching the highest volume nodes from the recent uptrend around 1.3530-40; this is exactly at the base of our daily demand zone. I expect these prices to be touched then rally hard. IF those levels break, then it's an all out bear party so watch the price action carefully. In terms of futures volumes, the delta has been positive for a while during the end of last week indicating an accumulation of longs below the lows of the 11th and 18th of Jan. This is real volume no tick volume BS. CFTC report confirms this addition of longs and removal of shorts by the banks.

DXY is in retest mode after the recent range breakout and we're currently retesting the daily supply. So I expect this to form a downtrend on the hourly charts after we've taken out the tested h4 demand zone. So this equates to bullishness on GU. As ever its a case of reading the PA on the day and not predicting and following bias blindly. However we have equal highs above the range on dxy which is liquidity that has to be taken at some point. So we have to be prepared for a rally up to collect that if indeed the breakout on DXY was a fakeout to gather liquidity for a rally to clear the other side of the range (not sure if that makes sense)

From a daytrading perspective I outline a potential trading scenario.

Good Day every one. The room is silent please make some noise by posting analysis we are here to learn.

GJ is clearly bearish. There is a M formation on H1 suggesting bearish perhaps can short if it retests the neckline then taking entries there. Personally I would risk lower % as its not on high probability supply demand zone. If this neckline breaks and goes above I see it coming to 155 to retest it.

Return in consolidation to fill imbalance. Short in supply zone.
