Watching these videos of "technical day traders" totally proves that patterns can fail you at any time. Nothing wrong with technicals, but in order to apply technicals into trading, it needs to be backed up by macroeconomics, otherwise you are just flipping a coin. Trade safe.

I honestly and sincerely beg to differ. Without any knowledge of fundamentals price can be gauged. There are certain clues in the market that if I follow them I will almost never lose a trade. The only thing that happens to me sometimes is FOMO. I usually know where price is going but sometimes enter earlier.

I know the usual buy/sell days. I know where liquidity is just by looking at the 15mins to 1min chart. I know how the various sessions behave. I know the importance and significance of Asia price movement. I look at some sort of volume data. With these I am almost always correct. If I make a mistake it was me not following my laid down rules. This is not gathered in a day or even a year, except someone teaches another. I learned all this from observation. If fundamentals meant everything then some pairs would be in -0.0000 as in minus 0.0000. But price is just a cycle, a scheme used to redistribute wealth.

Fundamentals work, but never in the short term. Fundamentals are useless for the short term. Like the dollar sell-off yesterday's data. The spin doctors always have a reason for whatever happens. All is a lie. Price is always correct.

I don't mean to come at you or your post. I respect your work here. I also have a good understanding of fundamentals, but price will do what it will do.

eur inflation rate is 5%
us inflation rate is 7% theres a 2% delta before you start
both are qe crazy
therefore a massive hole in any interest rate theory

Technical Analysis will always be superior to Fundamental Analysis. That's not to say FA is useless. FA can be useful. But its usefulness is mostly dependent on what kind of trader you are.

That supply zone you have circled on your chart is not guaranteed to work out as expected. Price could blow right through it, or it could retrace at that level, and then make its way back up there and blow through it.

It's best to deal with what is happening now. At this time, bulls are in control. Knowing this is more important than knowing where a supply or demand zone is located.

Very simple answer, if there was no macroeconomics, trading and charts would not exist. TA are in no way superior to FA. FA or macroeconomics analysis is the first thing you look at when you want to trade/invest, if not, you are flipping a coin, like most of the retail traders. TA will never be superior to FA, it never was and it never will be.

It could go through it easily, but it could also be a bull trap. I always look at the daily chart to determine entry or exit levels. I also consider what is on the economic calendar and the fundamental analysis.

That is not supply zone, that is what we call "unfair auction", which it could get there, it could get near there, but it is a good signal if you are buying earlier and to know to take profit around that area. Bulls are in no way in control whatsoever, it is a pullback, that is all it is. Until some major fundamentals macroeconomic change happens with EURO, EURUSD remains bearish.

Instead of ending diagonal, got reverse symmetrical triangle now terminated on E position and dropped already.
Opens bomb bay doors. Taking a massive dump on this pair.

Don't get me wrong. I am not saying it can't plummet from there. Anything is possible. My point is I feel it is best to deal with what is happening now. If price reaches that area, then we can deal with it at that time. For now, it seems best to see it as a potential exit point for a long trade.

this trend is 100% over
you can't draw it any other way ,the monthly turned bearish ,don't adjust it or bend it ,your be wrong very high probability
it will probably test a respected line like that but it could go further next week first

If you are looking at rather large TFs such as weekly and higher, then sure. But the pullbacks in those big TF uptrends will certainly have H4 and smaller TF traders feeling like bears have returned.

The image is plotted on MN1 TF.
The Red/Green line is about the 1.5 year TF, and it is clear that it is an an upswing. The dashed green vertical is about where the start of that swing is.

The yellow/pink MN2 is clearly making a pullback, and it is expected that MN4 will join it before price resumes its upward trend.
