TMS 5-Method FOMC Jan05

Dear Emmanuel, thanks for your reply. I am a struggling trader for a long time. I come to this thread several time and gone. This time last 2 weeks I desperately follow your rules and Big E rules and see a tremendous improvement in my trading in 2 weeks I made a lot of pips. grow my demo account more than 30% already with proper MM. Hope i can continuously grow 20% in my account using this system. this is very simple to follow and stress-free.

Hi everyone, I am a regular visitor to the thread but not to the strategy.

I haven't had much luck with the strategy in the past although I have to be honest, that after a few weeks and a few too many stops I gave up.

Here I want to ask a question.

I surely have not insisted enough to find the right strategy, but among all of us who read this thread and participate, is there anyone who can show me, even privately, the results obtained with the strategy? Maybe even a few months.

This is just to understand if I insist even much longer to learn the strategy or if I head elsewhere.

I have been trading BigE’s TMS since 2021.

I am only using the TDI (RSI 13, MA 2&7) with the Price Action mentioned by BigE.

I read in the Thread that in some periods some changes had been made, but never so many.

I know some of those mentioned, others I don't.

For this I will explain my problem with basic TMS so that maybe you can help me more specifically.

This week I started using TMSr from another thread, because my main problem is false signals, too many.

even using a correct MM, 0.5% per trade often I get entry signals together on 4-5 currencies and many are false signals.

This leads me to have a high DD even with a correct MM.

In the past I have also tried to use the technique only on 2 currencies but I did so little trading that it would take years to understand if it is effective or not.

Sorry for my english but i use Google Translate for write but i understand when i read in english.

I have been here since 2012 and from my 10years observations most traders here did not survive trading and they fade away after 2 to 3 years. Some had good results initially in the first months and then they are gone for good. Thinking that Big E' TMS is a signal based trading system is the first mistake most made.
Big E was a rule-based discretionary trader and studies has shown that is disciplined rule-based discretionary are the more successful traders.

#557 and #7555 you can do this too when you have tried long enough. Are you prepared to spend 3 to 5 hours every day for the next 2 to 3 years?

There isn't any changes in Big E' 5-Method. I have just tried and tested everything in the past 10 years and going back to where Big E started in 2006 and 2008.

going "back to the basics" where Big E started in Forex Factory and to the origin of his 5-Method.

you want to succeed in 2022 with "Let Profits Run", then the best thing to do during this year end holidays to a revision ... to read and study of all his posts in Forex Factory.

Big E' original TMS did not use RSI13 with MA2 and MA7.

Big E' TMS used the 2006 original Traders Dynamic Index by Dean Malone and he stripped the original yellow and blue lines from that TDI version.
That TDI version is the same one you find in Post#25 here.
This TDI#25 is different from many other version posted in this thread and Big E made money using just this TDI#25.

You are not trading original Big E' TMS. Trading RSI and MAs is just another very old method also known as fozzy RSI .

Your old post #124,758 shows you have the TDI on your chart and I noticed you have marked-up your post chart with fake trades.

Hey,
Since the begining of the year i decided to trade at least 15 min TF and stop with the 1 min which cost me already some money !
But it's ok im cool with that i think it's the normal process to learn the trading
Anyway I decided to be more disciplined with my entry / exit rules.
Yesterday I had a terrible lost of 18% on 1 single trade( 115$) the worst think about it is that i was sitting on my chair front of my screen watching it.. Like i wanted to hurt my self cause i dont respected my rules... so it will give me a good lesson !
Anyway I still finish my week in Profit with 11.2%.

Homework of this weekend : Improve MM !

>>> Define your trading business hours i.e. your system Trading Hours and follow those hours every day. The timeframe we take our trades is less important

DISCIPLINE is key to CONSISTENCY in trading.... 2022 goals.

Learn from the experience shared by the OP Big E, avoid trading anything below H1 and better make the transition to trade the 4H and Daily. I would also include the Weekly timeframe which will be my focus swing trading for 2022.

Have you considered the way BigE placed his SL upon entry? Then as trade progress you can execute your MM.

#647 has enlightened me with determining bias and POI with the few Price Action, that should limit the TDI signals you get and decide if to enter a trade. For example, a HHHL uptrend pattern can be a confluence for you should you go for continuation (BUY crosses, bounces) at supports or reversals (SELL cross) at resistances. Things like that
