Adding to my long positions.

Looks like we found a bottom.

We get some good news about the new variant and we'll be off to the races.

Tones been set for inflation and rate hikes.

Take that back. Last time we ranged at these levels it was for a month. It has only been a week.

Staying long.

Buying every single time we have a pull back.

Like I've said before we are in the middle of wave 3 and as soon as we get good news about the new variant you're going to get a wicked snap back.

Target adjusted to 114.75. (1 to 1 A to C wave.)
Looking to close short at opening gap. or during opening sideways action as bears lose steam.

they can go up or down from here.

if omicron has some relief news. Yields will snap upward. Bringing USDJPY with it.

neither is certain. If omicron hadn’t happened. Powell’s comments and other Fed speak would’ve been pretty big. 10YUST probably closing in on 2.00 maybe little less. Hard to say about something that didn’t happen.

point is omicron is the worry on a pair like USDJPY. Probably get some volatility if sp500 tanking on faster taper. Think we’d see the correlation fluctuate since yields drive currency rates

Short at 113.180. Averaging my previous short so target is around 113.090

I hate to resell or rebuy to average out my positions and have always been a pain. Still, having already completed today's target, taking the risk.

Be wary the trendline right before news. Banks use them to trap traders. Ever notice how volatile the chart is right before a news report? Almost like they know the news and are moving price into place for it.

Short at the close. 113.2. Back to 112.8. Looks like nonfarm may be our exit prompt. Dropping longs at first retracement. No stacking. possible 113 bounce. Tp 112.75 .... ish with a close eye on the 113 area for scalp.

SP500 almost erasing losses

USDJPY not exactly following the bounce.


I like watching volumes. Even ticks on spot fx.

the sp500 futures volumes declining on the move up isn’t worrying me quite yet. It’s going back to its average. The volume peak looked like good absorption for longs while the shorts were hammering away. it is hitting a high volume area so longs could be looking to see what shorts will do.

I’m no pro. Just watching.

Looks like Omicron wasn't the end of the world after all and this isn't March 2020.

Didn't hold. Had to move SL into profit. Still looking for a 113 though, but for now the 4hr looks rip for a retrace. FOMC is in a week. We may churn until then looking for an excuse to fulfil PA. For now scalping a long at the open. 15m showing a nice 5 leg up and abc down. high probability continuation once I see a leg 1 form. Let's see. target 80% of previous move.

If 114 (50% Fib) does not break through, it will return to 112.50 and possibly lower.
