Why do you equate ability to trade with tripling an account. I know how to trade but I have no silly dreams about tripling my account in some short period of time. I'm happy with an annual return exceeding that of the S&P 500. If I can't do that then what's the purpose of trading.

It would be more revealing to see who can steadily increase their account over a period of 1 year. Those seeking account tripling in a short period of time may be successful in the short term but this type of irresponsible trading is not sustainable.

For the first time you said something right! Totally agree with you. Tripling an account means using too much leverage.

I respect your perspective in trading. If that is how you know, keep moving on.

My challenge are to those who claim greatness but belittling others telling them wrong, trying to teach acting like a champ.

P.S... never say, tripling account in a short possible time is irresponsible. FYI, it is a skill one can develop. Just because you don't know how doesn't mean those who can do are irresponsible (Gamblers). Green pips to us.

This is not practical. To be a fair competition, everyone would have to agree to trade the same pair, and the same time frame. Moreover, a certain amount of trades would have to be placed each month to stay in the competition.

Instead of having it as whoever triples their account first wins, the winner should be the person who has the best results over a certain period of time (should be at least 6 months). If all participants have proven to be consistently profitable by the end of the competition, then that is proof enough that each one knows how to trade. However, if you are looking for the best trader among all participants, then that would be the person who has the best results by the end of the competition.

You can't have a legit competition without rules. There must be rules. And even you agree that there must be rules. Otherwise, there would be no sense in saying the first to triple their account wins. That, in itself, is a rule.

i stepped out and didn't want to stay in. now see i should have stayed in.

It's not all about irresponsibility, it depends on your style of trading too. As a position trader my goal is to take hundreds of pips from a trade and also risking hundreds while doing that. Which is why i can't use that much leverage. But like i said people can look at my track record.
