Glad I took half my long off at 115.Xx

added more back at 114.15~ Not going well. JPY pairs are the movers. Treasuries are strong (yields down).

I was out of the market when the first variants were spooking the news. Didn’t watch in real time how things played out. But volumes weren’t like this.

Iv got the highest Tick volume since the 2020 election. And before that the covid crash. Why I’m a little spooked. Market is moving with weight.

Market has been looking for any reason to sell off. I’m not in equities besides my 401k. I know USDJPY tracks pretty well with US equities.

since august this is first time I might be ok with being shook out.

Although. If there’s any fast signs it’s similar to the beta or lamda (worrying at first that never played out bad) you don’t wanna get caught shorting risk. Thing could snap back 200pips

im looking at reducing long exposure but not going short. Just me though.

bit of a bitch but hit target eventually. expecting a correction now then drop lower

Here's my take on the USDJPY. On the daily time frame, last Friday, the USDJPY price action made a bearish drop from a multi-year horizontal resistance, creating a supply at the 115.130/115.500 area (red). It surged to the 113.190/ 112.700 demand zone (green) where it met a bullish push back. The technical structure and order flow still favour bulls more than bears, and we may see a northward move in the early part of this week.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

5 pm New York?

9 am Tokyo?

8 am Frankfurt?

8 am London?

If it's pulling back, isn't it already going long?

Spot starts trading in the U.S. 2pm pst.

Price is showing a gap up at 113.90 currently.

Here's my take on the USDJPY. The tool unfortunately did not meet its targets for the red extension model from Tactica Adversa. Therefore, when updating 112.73, I will catch it down. Good luck.

Well... Nothing tells me i should be selling this girl lol. Im infact looking at 116.6-116.8 zonal for that more prominent supply demand zone on long term. With dollar index as such, i thinking selling against trend is not advisable imho.

There isn't any heavy selling in the options market until 115.
