That is what "most" do... Not only in this thread but you see it in every thread. They act like they know how to trade by attacking legit traders and acting like a champ... hoping to get attention and clients to manage accounts or at least sell holy grail system. Welcome to the reality here in FF. lol It is easy to spot them. Legit traders are open to ideas, always comparing different perspective, interested to know others point of view because you want to be careful, always on guard, trying to analyze every bit of information both sides because your money is at stake in every trade. While thise pretenders acting like a champ doesn't care for opposing views, they take advantage of the situation to make them look good to get clients but when they trade, they fuck up. Because what they say sounds good but market doesn't give a shit on how good they sound and analyze the market.. market is on its own. No single trader in the world knows where the next tic is... we can only speculate... sometimes we get it right, sometimes we get it wrong.. no exemption. It's the method that we do that makes the difference. But analysation whether technical or fundamental or both or whatever? Yeah.... again, sometimes right, sometimes wrong. Those who claim that their technical or fundamental analysis are consistently right can kiss my ass... for free!

I think I started out learning it the wrong way - I read a book which said that the same 'technical' methods can be applied to 'all markets'.

That's clearly not how it works, and it's far more complicated and involved than most people recognize (hence, the utter retailer failure to do well from trading).

I think the 'true wisdom' is to be learned 'from the mouth' of those who know and not from any book on the market!

I understand where you're going with this. USD will not fail, it will be around for a very long time. It will always be a fiat safe haven currency.
