Don't have a great feeling about USDJPY one way of the other right now, will keep an eye on 113.75 as a pivot and wait for something to to develop. Bulls are probably disappointed with yesterday action.

The USDJPY market operation is presently sideways in a technically bullish market. Price action on the daily time frame is in a sideways mode as it tackles a multi-year horizontal resistance seen on the weekly time frame. It has formed a symmetrical triangular pattern (blue) and we should await how it breaks out.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Usdjpy has been taking out previous yearly highs.

115 was the high from 2016.

If you look at the weekly and monthly charts that's trend not consolidation

I agree. From the levels of 105 or even way back 86 level noone believes snp500 gonna go so deep high corelated with usdjpy. For those on high tf on this pair monitoring, its trend. Just buying on dips further and stacking till now.

What's your opinion about money supply data? The US growth seems to be several times faster than Japan. BOJ behaves responsibly, and the Fed is clearly not. Therefore I can't understand the 1-year-old bullish trend. The money supply has to be the key here, and all I can see is a huge USD/JPY bubble.

Out at 115.40....Don't think we'll get much more than 115.75 without a pullback.

Seeing some divergence on multiple tf's.

Looking at 114.50/114.00 for longs.

I believe a major corrective move will be in place before any further up move. 115.8-116.10 supply zone is coming in place.

The break of chikou span requires a bounce board (retrace) before further up move.

New covid variant is freaking out the market.

I shorted that sucker all the way to 114.19....Going to bed and looking for buys tomorrow.

Although... Back on 03/06/20 if you bought that Friday into market close when the market was freaking out about covid it gapped down that Sunday.

Might hold off until Sunday.

Was that last high a wave 5? The daily kinda makes it look like a hyperextended wave 3 to the 423 of wave 1. Let's see how they play this news out. UP? I would say that was wave 3 and wave 5.. ohh boy. Down.. will validate it as the wave 5 putting us into correction. Not far til support though.

There's nothing technical about this sell-off lol.

You can't use a "Black Swan Event" as a tool to validate technicals.

Doesn't work that way.

We were in wave 3 but it wasn't hyperextended if you look at the daily chart.

Hell look at the monthly chart and the super cycle.
