Closing shop for the week.
Basically bought EUR and sold GBP.
Still holding EG, and for the next week I probably stick with the same script, buy EUR and sell GBP.
Market can prove me wrong.
Green pips!

Overall a shit week for me.Part of it moves are random and unpredictable mostly because of years end closing of books etc.
Not ideal for swing trading.Anyway always another week.

Look for opportunities UJ and Euro pairs maybe after German data
USD is overstretched could be corrections coming

The yields on the 2 year NZ bond seem to be getting ahead of themselves. May explain the overvalued push by the KIWI last month. The GAP up in OCT was huge! over 1%. Maybe a pattern of what's to come for US, Aus, UK etc. Thrown the AUS 2 years for reference.

Rate announcement on tomorrow and priced for perfection in rate increases overcoming years of 1 1/2 basis points.

My thoughts on the dollar are that it will remain strong until China starts to stimulate its economy or Europe starts to recover from covid/supply chain issues. There is an element of the USD being a safe haven and once growth starts to bottom elsewhere, money will start to run out of the dollar to get a return. Naturally there is the tapering and rate increase element to consider but I believe this is largely priced in. Lira implosion is another nasty to consider.

I've been following your thread since inception - hats off to your mix of stickiness to hard rules and learnt behaviour towards specific market conditions. This is meant seriously, as I have tried (semi-)manual approaches revolving around Pivots before myself - always with the consequence of short-circuits on my end due to being too bored waiting for constellations to materialise all day. IMO the addition of the TDI doesn't add much confirmation value as PA for entry logic, your percentage based risk management and balls to let the winning swarm run will make all the difference. Thus, I modified your weekly Pivots indicator to work on all lower timeframes plus a lookback and PA based entry logic. It was for my own entertainment - if you like it, I can post the code. Otherwise, keep it going and happy pips.

New variant over reaction is exactly that over reaction.Commodity pairs took a huge beating.I advised against selling EC

I anticipate Monday market calms down and corrections begin obviously hyper moves follows profit taking but I could be proven wrong as market is king.

Current price is the green line and the smart money is the light brown line.
The middle line is above uptrend and below down trend.
Then as Davit was pointing out I understand those big moves up on EUR.
