Why should we listen to any advice, whatever you call them mainstream or alternative? Why don't we study history? But history is not easy to study because it is an extremely difficult and impassable area. Today we have become like garbage cans, we are crammed with either alternative or main stream information and we think we know something. Unfortunately, we don't know anything. The first difference we have to make is the distinction between history and the past. These are not two of the same thing.
Here is an example from history related to the black death in the 14th century.
Even before 1345, Europeans knew that the Black Death was ravaging Asia. And what they did to prevent it from penetrating Europe at the time. Nothing. And why didn't they do anything? Because the existing system of organization of society resisted change, people simply wanted to live the way they lived before, they wanted to trade, war, conquer, engage in art, etc. However, this disease changed and broke the social relations of that time, irreversibly changed them. And killed over 30% of the then European population. Feudalism by no means recovered after the black death of the 14th century. The labor force disappeared, general malnutrition and hopelessness reigned, and the existing social system was no longer sustainable. Now all of a sudden there was a lot of land and very little manpower. The threats of the rulers no longer meant anything, the peasants went to new areas and found new arable land and no longer wanted to work for the feudal lords under the old conditions. In Florence, the landlords even tried to restore slavery to force the peasants to work for them but this only increased the various variants of rebellion. The English nobility even tried to limit the peasant per diem with a document called the Labor Statute, and this provoked a peasant uprising in England in 1381. Thousands of peasants marched from Kent to London threatening the king and the monarchy. In 1382, a whirlwind of revolution took place in France…
In short, the rulers managed to quell all these revolts by the beginning of the 15th century, but there was no return to the old, feudalism disappeared from the world stage and some new social forces entered the historical stage.
This is the time when countless crazy theories were circulating in Europe about who and how brought the black death virus. The church advocated the view that this is God's punishment for sins, in that age a series of almost completely insane religious movements emerged, a climate of religious madness emerged in which everyone blamed others for what had befallen them. Of course, the Jews were also accused, it was a great opportunity for the Europe of that time to accuse the Jews again that in addition to killing the god, they poisoned the drinking water wells and brought black death to Europe. There was a terrible persecution and murder of Jews and other social groups for which the centers of power had their reasons to accuse them of something they did not do. Even manuals have been made "on how to recognize a Jew who are spreading the Black Death." The era of complete madness and disintegration of the existing social forces followed…

…. I leave it to you to draw a parallel with the age in which we live and what we could learn from all this…
On the example of the plague and from the 14th century we see how the disease shaped the world and changed social relations…

They are not mine resources, they are reliable resources, from people that have education and years experience. Majority of people are vaccinated and are just fine. Some of the unlucky elderly past away from covid. Those are reliable sources. You have provided none. Science dont care about your conspiracies, they only go by facts old guy.

wow, thanks for the long post.

what we know - well yes - nothing at the end of the day. but that doesn't stop me from trying...
studying history, or making sense of history: i think we understand history based on what is happen right now today. we re-analyse history with this view. but also histroy is always written by the victors and not the losers. that's what i like about history its analysis always changing.
agree disease is a catalyst, well understood by our betters too i'm sure.

Many social groups have been blamed for the Spanish flu between the two world wars ... among others, and that the Germans brought it to the battlefield of the First World War to kill enemy soldiers. there were academic debates about it in America at that time, many "evidences" were admitted, the covers of the then mainstream media were full of such analyzes and conclusions ...
However, the truth about this disease was somewhat different.
Find a newspaper from that time and you will see what mass madness looks like when someone is accused of something he never did ... those covers and analyzes can still be found in slightly better archives in the world ...

history is not fixed. its analysed and "viewed" through a lens. if a new document come out the change the perceived idea what happened at a certain point of time etc. the previous view is changed. that's my point. let's not get into newspapers and who owns them as a trusted source on history or even a tell on what people were thinking at time.

there's no doubt that alternative media has issues with determining facts (ha ha like mainstream is factual but i digress) but that doesn't mean you through the baby out wit the bath water. all inputs have to be analysed, and trading is no different. i have "trusted" (and i still critically view them) in alt media. nobody has the last word on anything. my view on anything evolves because new inputs come in and I have to adjust for that.

once upon a time, anyone trying to connect the dotes was a analyst, today if they don't follow the agree narrative they are conspiracy theorist.

stop thinking and just follow.

EU is on dip that's why retails are buying. But if something is going down there's probably a reason behind it that's why they should question themselves before buying it though.

There's a risk of pullback, i am okay to keep my short positions open but i wouldn't sell it here. I did add to my shorts in GU though because it made a reasonable pullback. So overall my stance is sell it on every pullback. Be careful though we have Euro & Pound inflation rates coming up this week.
