Extremely good adp numbers.

I like idea number 2 lol.

The only problem is someone has been betting big on yen futures the last couple days and more than offsetting the dollars gains.

Its really weird to see yen and dollar going the same direction on the same day.

I really don't understand why good nfp and unemployment numbers are better for JPY then USD

Today's bearish movement just doesn't make any sense. This is silly

It's not good for the yen.

Yen is traditional used as a safe haven for traders.

So risk off days It's up and risk on days It's down and moves in the separate direction as the dollar.

To me it looks like someone is trying to manipulate spot fx prices.

It could be argued that we are near some important monthly resistance also

But that's not profitable though. Would you manipulate FX prices using billions of dollars just to surpress USDJPY? I mean that's crazy, complete waste of money.

Good news for USD but UJ is falling. That just doesn't make sense. Also BoJ is dovish. I don't know man this game is starting get really annoying when EU and GU is falling without any problem.

There is industry players who choose their game against others. If demand losses its value then it become cheap.

Drive it down making money going long yen.

Then take a long spot fx position at a lower price betting on a breakout.

The margin requirements for yen contracts is like 10k a contract.

So to move that market the way its been moving the last couple days you'd have to have millions or billions.

Spot fx prices are extremely sensitive to the yen futures.

If you watch the futures markets at all its actually disgusting how blatantly obvious what they're doing is.

What happened yesterday and today had 0 to do with retail traders.

From what I read, it seems like they're expecting much better numbers due to the amount of money being pumped in, thus even though we beat analysts' estimates, it still kinda falls short on market expectations in a way. And possibly also because there is a chance that Jerome Powell won't be re-elected because people spotted Brainard at the White House and she's apparently much more dovish than Powell.

Will be curious to see what Jerome Powell talks about tomorrow.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

We must see the big issue of US. Tapering is ready so they need space for got big jump so thats why USD drop last week.

Smart money has this in the 114.30/113.30 range Monday/Tuesday.

Lots o options sitting at 114.30.

I really expected the Adp report and news from the Fed to push this outta this range.

Always seems like it takes a day or two for people to digest what the fed says.

USDJPY was going good and recovering from last Friday. I made a happy start to the day. Then i went to school and took my exam. After the exam i checked my trades again and H*LL NO IT WAS DOWN AGAIN. AH COME ON SELLERS GIMME A BREAK WILL YA?
