I was reading "Indicators for the Trading Made Simple system" from over in the Similar Threads section, a discussion about the TDI lines not moving while a candle is being built. I checked mine by refreshing the chart and found my lines were indeed only moving after a refresh/new candle start. Probably discussed here but I've been moving around this thread so much I'm not sure where/if talked about.

Someone posting a fix by which you changed a line in the code...it was explained well and very easy but did not fix the problem for me, even after a few attempts.

Another poster, hanover, posted the method for using the standard mt4 RSI indicator:

If you're using Dean Malone's original settings, the green line is a SMA(2) of a RSI(13,close). Then the red line is a SMA(7) of the green line.

By way of proof, you can replicate this using factory MT4 indys:

1. Create RSI in a new window. Set the parameters to 13 and close, and the color to None, so that it doesn't show.

2. Drag the MA indy into the same window as the RSI. Set the values to 2, simple, close, color = Green, and most importantly, Apply to = Previous Indicator's Data

3. Drag the MA indy into the same window as the RSI. Set the values to 7, simple, close, color = Red, and once again, Apply to = Previous Indicator's Data

That should be an exact match to TDI with the settings (see attached screenshot):
RSI_Period = 13
RSI_Price = 0
RSI_Price_Line = 2
RSI_Price_Type = 0
Trade_Signal_Line = 7
Trade_Signal_Type = 0

That’s nice. So you are saying that your Market Wizard acquaintance can do what Emmanuel preaches here, making $500-$1,500 a night with a $10,000 account? Let’s assume that he accomplishes the low end of that range. $500. With roughly 20 trading days in a month, he would be literally doubling his account every month. Now, without withdrawing any of those funds, he would double his account 12 times in one year (making $500 a day, for every $10,000 that he had in the account). Doing the quick math in my head, that is somewhere between $20 and $21 MILLION dollars in 1 calendar year….all from a “measly” $10k account!

If anyone here can show a simulated TE doing just 1% of that calculation, I will be truly impressed. Don’t hold your breath kids, it ain’t gonna happen.

#301 Most new traders are terrified to think about trading 4hr & Daily charts. I know I was many years ago... but I didn't have a plan on how to successfully attack it either. We are bring that info to our readers..
Stop trading lower time frames if you really want to make money.
When I finally got sick and tired of making $1 a pip I switched to 4hr charts and trading full lots.
I've spent a lot of money and thousands of hours studying and it was about time I got paid for it... and I do using our method.

What is a full lot size with a $10 000 account with leverage between 25:1 <> 500:1
Look at the length of that blue trendline:
> M5 <=> piece of string
> H4 <=> speck of cosmetic dust in outer space

- Has the market changed that much between 2010 <> 2021 that trader can not find a piece of string or a speck of dust at London Open / New York Open?
- Look at the black trendlines with TDI green cross red.
- Can they do it 5 days a week, 52 weeks a year? Hell no! WHY NOT!!!

Looking at the above one can make the assumption that brokers are paying Vincent a hefty $$$$ to post this type of nonsense:
- You need to find your WINNING EDGE and the TDI is not in the winning edge equation

After Vincent posted his boast of an AVERAGE of $1000 per day, I posted a similar calculation, dropping it to $500 per day, 20 trading days per month, only 10 trading months per year and WITHDRAWING the winnings each month, he would withdraw $100,000 per year. So even if he traded only at this pace, it would require a mere 10 years to make a million with that starting $10,000. But, if he left all of the funds in the account, then as you noted, if you look at the doubling every month, then at the end of month 8 he already surpassed the million dollar mark. In addition, he boasts about have MULTIPLE accounts!!!

I followed Big E many years ago for a short time and have nothing but kudos for him. Your post sort of inspires me to look at Big E's methods again but I think it's just nostalgia. Anyway keep posting here on this wonderful thread that anyone is welcome to post on. I think Big E would be proud.
