try setup your chart with different timeframe candles to show on your chart.

Cannot be a valid entry because there is no trade setup.

I don't any price action setup with Stoch(8,3,3) and 5EMA Typical Price, Shift+2.
The candles are small and if your have the 5EMA on your chart, it will probably be flat with no clear direction.

That candle has not closed and there is no MOMENTUM in that candle .

Check you chart setup and make sure you follow Post#261.

But that being said, BigE only says that he hates trading those TFs as his preference, not that others can't trade them. He made it clear that the 5-method works on ALL TFs.

Well, for noobs that haven't learned that they need to read at an absolute minimum post#1 of a thread but instead miss the important information contained in early posts by just jumping in near the present, they will either be totally confused or will have the wrong idea that the 5-method is a mish-mash of EAs, at least 10 indicators that are used at different times and in various ways, a shipload of terminology to learn like MCC, master candle, m5m15m30, Ross Hook, as well as the bits-and-pieces from myriad other threads.

Unfortunately, not many folks in their right minds would stick around after a couple of days of seeing that. But some of them get all excited by the propaganda and outright lies that Vincent dangles in front of them, get hooked, and then, well, we know what happens.
Its a real pity, considering that the 5-method has so few indicators and no difficult information to grasp.

Honestly on the 5 method you don't really need any indicators because the simple entry rules are so basic and clear cut. If I were to pick two it would be the tdi & stochs.

I almost always have the tdi & stoch on all my charts regardless of the method being used.

However, it's not necessary on the 5 method for me. It gives people more confidence when they have it on their charts it seems.... and it's a good confirmation to the current PA and possible trade.

You can trade the 5 method without the TDI if it's a problem...

PA is HA Candles, PA crosses the yellow line and closes... enter on the next candle if it's the same color. When candles flatten out... exit. Stay in the trade as long as it doesn't cross back over the yellow line and close.

The TDI just gives me a lot more information for making my entries & exits decisions.

2scoops asked me a long time ago what would be the most beneficial to learning this method for higher success... The answer was simple... study old charts for set ups... now strip down everything on that chart at that point... trends, angles, S/R levels, News times, Stoch angle within the 20-80 lines..etc. Burn it into your memory... I spent 2 years doing that.... so what does that mean?

It takes me 15 seconds to strip a chart down to nothing including the TDI & Stoch's. Taking clean trades is a breeze for me... why?

I can take you to water but I can't make you drink... follow the simple entry & exit rules. Forget other indicators. I went down those roads so you wouldn't have too...
