The EURUSD market operation made a bullish retest of a broken-down horizontal support around 1.16700 (red). On the daily time frame, price action is in a falling wedge (blue). Meanwhile, it is at the wedge resistance trendline where it settled to a sideways mode after bouncing off the broken down 1.16700 former significant horizontal support (red) seen on the monthly time frame. We may see further bullish push northwards, perhaps to retest the 1.16860/1.17500 daily supply zone (magenta), before a southward rotation. Any such southward rotation would likely flip the 1.16700 area (red) as resistance and may lead to sustainable bearish drive.

I am bearish EURUSD, but I will await how price action handles the 1.16860/1.17500 daily supply zone (magenta).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Every time I come back here to this EUR/USD thread there's new people having arguments lol.

It's almost like a curse and happens in 3 monthly cycles but I guess that's what makes us all different.

I hope everyone's staying safe, clean, green and less mean this winter.

Ahaha yes! Well, just getting 6 pips for now though But we have a BoJ meeting and interest rate decision coming up this week and i think they will stay super dovish. So the chances are JPY will keep getting weaker while USD is strenghtening with tapering and interest rate hikes pricing in. At least that's what i am hoping for

You are still with that interest rate. Movement already made since last month. It maybe still has few left though. What I am observing for is, whether retracement is done and we will have continuation or will have a new trend. We can only speculate. I do have positions in gbp,eur,usd against jpy.

It's not just about interest rates though, imho JPY will keep getting weaker everytime the inflation numbers keep coming out more than the consensus and everytime BoJ refuses to act on it. They won't act on it for a long time though since they are too far away from the 2% mark. Let's not forget that supply and energy crisis is a big issue for Japan. My expectation is Japanese Yen will stay as the weakest currency among the other G10 currencies for the next 1 or 2 quarters
