They ram that into you in the beginning. How a tight stop loss will protect you. What it does is lead to endless stop outs and more entry fee's for brokers?
I've spent months waiting for hundred pip moves to come back to my entry haha. I'm not saying don't use stop loss but I can't remember last time I used them regularly. When your right about the overall direction of higher time frame but the reversal point was a bit lower or higher. A lot of times even yesterday there was 1 or 3 more waves down before the reversal and in the end it went the way you thought anyway. Then there's the times when you was just very wrong all over and I wished I had put a stop loss and sell stop or limit order in case I was wrong. It's tricky to say what will work for everyone, I guess you find your own level of comfort with the stop losses.

discarded my channel for a wedge - seems to maker better sense.

EURUSD has been down trending by obeying a trendline. The price may go towards the North to find its resistance again. The sellers may wait for the price to produce a bearish reversal pattern at the confluence level to go short again in the pair. If the confluence level produce a strong bearish reversal pattern, the price may head towards the South and make a new lower low.

Was expecting a contracting top triangle in abcde at the top

But I'm looking at an expanding triangle at the bottom.

We just dropped over the E line we should go back up...

I am saying that for a long time, and the trendline appears great, touching a minimum of 3 points.
I hope FED stops manipulating and surrenders.
