I've been screaming buy dollar crosses for about 2 years now. Your news is years behind the curve they can only react to what the chart is doing.
They argue among their selves why the market moves how it does, they don't understand it. All they understand is the printing press.

They are not late mate. You don't understand the concept. Let me give another example:

FED was extremely dovish between April 2020 - June 2021. And between these dates USD depreciated a lot against Swiss Franc, Euro and the Pound.

So between those dates, if you shorted USD and bought Euro/Pound/Franc you made a lot of pips. USD had much more severe inflation problems against these three but yet FED was much more dovish. I personally made a lot from buying GU and EU and also investing in US Stocks and Crypto during those days.

It's all about understanding the monetary policies and the cycles mate.

Great explanation, I get it thanks. But I will tell you from my experience I have been here since about 2012, and i think this Suthmo has been here a bit more, and he has been posting these wave analysis whatever that is, and I can tell you I have not seen his chart once hitting the right way. So that tells you everything about him. He also seem to be against the fundamentals, in his head he thinks it does not matter, and that these wave magics are running the market. Sometimes you can't teach certain people and make them understand how market actually works. He will be here another 10 years and he will never learn how market works. But that is how it is sometimes. Trade safe.

For 80 years wave principle been teaching people how price likes to continue down from the 61.8 retrace level.
But you think this is the feds thought waves are responsible for the subsequent move down from ABCDE reversal pattern that formed over many preceding months? Your worshiping the printing press operators in a personality cult.
