Don't contact Dean Malone about the TDI. The way he uses it for his method is 180 degrees from how we use it... you need to learn how to use it our way...

The TDI is the heart of our method. It tells you when to enter and where to exit any trades... so review previous posts and learn it good.

HA Candles are important because it makes your trading way less stressful... use them.

Stoch's is nothing but confirmation. If Stoch's & the TDI give different signals... lights flash off and on warning me to take a closer look before entering.. and usually I look for another trade.

5 ema... shows direction currently... only wanting to enter on candle 1 or two. If there is a reversal do I have a TDI signal to enter... if not and all looks strong then enter on candle 2... use some discretion... practice on Demo... take some chances and see if yor head computer was right... it's free.

HA Candles... What are their size? If they are small I will usually go find another set up... Look for consolidation... look for how close PA is to supp/res levels... use your brain !

Believe it or not you have to participate and think... until it's so second nature... there is nothing to it... it's so simple... don't complicate it or you will lose...

Yes, of course the 5-method strategy still works.

And as he stated, works on ALL time time frames!! Don't be fooled by the people that want to trick you into thinking that it only works on H4 at some specific time zone and larger timeframes.

Also, be aware that some members constantly inject parts of other systems. BigE said do not add anything!!!

For example, you find no discussion at all by BigE in his 5-method information about a Daily 3candles reversal setup.

In Post 261 BigE answered your question already:

First part of sentence is a question with: "do I have"
- If there is a reversal do I have a TDI signal to enter

Second part of sentence is an answer with: "if not"
- Indicating no TDI cross over to be found

Third part of sentence is the advice to follow without TDI crossover:

No it is not part of price action.
It is a name given for an event where there is a trend change in the price of an asset.
Which even non traders can see on any chart.

Price action is sight translation from a chart like support/ resistance level, consolidation, candle patterns, pivot points and what ever a trader want to use to trade with that a non trader will have no or little knowledge off.

Also :
Price Action is the free interpretation a trader see which a other trader does not see because they use a different trading techniques.

In other words :
Price Action is open to interpretation for no trader see price action the same way.

Do you read any price action in this sentence?
Going south (short). Even though it's candle #3 it looks strong for a trade entry... USD/JPY 4hr.
--- going south means > trend change in the price of an asset.

BigE was referring to the HA candle that had 3 red bars
Candle 3 as per image is candle 1 for TDI green cross red with stoch confirming direction.

There are obvious reasons why people don't post live TE. His strategy and pivot factory strategy in general has a flaw. It's nothing more than a martingale variant no matter what excuses they come up with.
