Open questions,

- When of the next day do you make entries? At open, an hour later, etc?
- Do you enter market or pending?

Thanks
RS

After trying almost all the best trading systems here at FF, the one that suits me the most. and what I am most satisfied with is this, I have also created an indicator that at the close of the dayli candle, warns me if there is a cross of the SMA 5, I keep 30 charts open so as to always have some potential market entry.

it is not a problem but I am not a programmer, I did it with EA BUILDER, each cross of the candle at the end of the day, with the sma 5, places an arrow, and one push alert on your phone, it must then be managed with your mind whether to enter or not.

Hello old friend.
The idea is to go in and check the D charts as the candle closes and a new one opens.
That is why you go in at Tokyo open.
I use 4H and 1H charts for checking limit orders.
But that is not a Bk8 system.
All the best.
Oddbjorg
[For my part - Going in to check at Tokyo open. Going through the D charts, and decide. I know someone also had good results with waiting to go in at London open.]
All the best to all of you. But don't follow me. I am a learner.

Many thanks, Odd!

I am enjoying your "interesging pairs" posts. Yours are always good, no reverse results.

It also makes sense to wait until euro/London open.

Attached is the indicator that gives the sma5 cross of D1 bar. Change the color #4 to yellow and #5 to magenta to get the arrow signs as you see on the chart below.

Hi RisingSun,

We post what we see, setups are not related to the messenger but to objective and verifiable signals matching a given strategy. It’s true that the pairs I post sometimes have unexpected reverse results. But it’s also true that the market has unexpected and unavoidable reversals. That’s precisely why we should have a solid risk management system. Like avoiding oversized trades or limiting our risk. Hedging strategies are an interesting alternative to stop-loss orders which are in fact a loss machine, but not everyone will agree on that, not a problem for me.
All the best.
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure...

Hi Filipo1,

If I correctly understand, you are not using stop-loss orders?

Hi Str3s5,
Not as a primary protection. You can search for my former posts in this thread about it. Basically I use hedging orders but I do use relatively tight stop-loss on the trades triggered by hedging executions.
Stop-loss orders has been promoted by brokers encouraging huge leverage levels which left almost no other alternative to protect positions than stop-loss orders because most of the available equity was already engaged with the margin…

Ok I am leaving for some time, take care.
I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure...

Hi all, I am just trying to get a grip. I noticed EURNZD. Would this pair comply for a short entry after NY close? Price crossed EMA, pointing downwards. It's also an engulfing candle. I am hesitating because price has higher lows. So price seems to be bullish on longer term. I'm not sure if that is being considered.

Interresting pairs.
Opt. Keeping an eye on BB if narrowing and waiting for 2nd green candle.
All the best.
