Honestly on the 5 method you don't really need any indicators because the simple entry rules are so basic and clear cut. If I were to pick two it would be the tdi & stochs.

I almost always have the tdi & stoch on all my charts regardless of the method being used.

However, it's not necessary on the 5 method for me. It gives people more confidence when they have it on their charts it seems.... and it's a good confirmation to the current PA and possible trade.

You can trade the 5 method without the TDI if it's a problem...

PA is HA Candles, PA crosses the yellow line and closes... enter on the next candle if it's the same color. When candles flatten out... exit. Stay in the trade as long as it doesn't cross back over the yellow line and close.

The TDI just gives me a lot more information for making my entries & exits decisions.

2scoops asked me a long time ago what would be the most beneficial to learning this method for higher success... The answer was simple... study old charts for set ups... now strip down everything on that chart at that point... trends, angles, S/R levels, News times, Stoch angle within the 20-80 lines..etc. Burn it into your memory... I spent 2 years doing that.... so what does that mean?

It takes me 15 seconds to strip a chart down to nothing including the TDI & Stoch's. Taking clean trades is a breeze for me... why?

I can take you to water but I can't make you drink... follow the simple entry & exit rules. Forget other indicators. I went down those roads so you wouldn't have too...

took a loss with my entry yesterday but recovered everything with vengence with 2 entries today..the htf are still bearish imo..just to clarify when I'm trading M15 my htf will be H4 and above and not H1

Here is my 2 trade in GJ. I have 1 more trade left for the day,
I can't see any good trade opportunity in gold or gj at the moment. so I will stop for the day.

My win rate, RR everything improve when I stop over trading.
Just 3 trade in a day not more than that.

It is amusing at what Vincent will post to change Trading Made Simple.
No matter how hard he tries by quoting from Craig Harris Stochastics Method and ONLY one post in this thread he won't change any of BigE's posts.

Post#1..... The key to this method is the Traders Dynamic Index indicator for entries and exits.
Post#2..... 1st Trading Chart... Note on the TDI showing your entry set ups... green crossing red enter on that new PA candle...
Post#11...... I just glance at the TDI for set ups when the new candle opens...
If I see a set up... green just crossing red I'll take the trade, turn off the pc and go to bed.
Post#119..... On this method the TDI is King. All trades are signaled by it as well as exits... does that keep it simple.
Post#261..... The TDI is the heart of our method. It tells you when to enter and where to exit any trades..

Hi Vincent, are you that dumb by think you can change what BigE has posted about TDI.

Looks like you still have plenty of problems with reading comprehension. BigE dropped some things from the Craig Harris thread when he created the Trading Made Simple thread as well as made some adjustments to the 5-method. And one of those adjustments was putting TDI as the heart of the method and after SEEING A GREEN CROSS RED, THEN applying entry criteria that included PA.

He did NOT say to look at the PA on a chart and see if it looks like there could be an entry and THEN see if there is green cross red. No matter how many times you continue to make this mistake (or, more likely, it is INTENTIONAL by you to add to the confusion for the newcomers), it will not become the fact in the TMS thread.

But you can keep on posting your trickery, scams, and lies to get the attention of the naïve newcomers while the folks with enough intelligence to figure out how the 5-method really works get to enjoy laughing at your absurd posts.

H4 was in an up continuation swing yesterday that continued into today. In fact, even H8 was in the same swing, so difficult to see how that these "higher TFs" can be considered bearish. D1, on the other hand, has not shown a bullish turn yet. But anyway, as I said before, change comes from the bottom and travels upward. So if the the up swings cannot get past H8, then of course D1 cannot move from bearish to bullish.

Now you're on to something!! By dropping to 3 trades per day from 10 (or more), you see improvement. So extrapolate that further ...
Go to only 2 trades per day, then just 1, then NO trades at all. And FINALLY, you will have NO LOSING TRADES AT ALL!!! SUCCESS IS AROUND THE CORNER FOR YOU!!!

No, of course he is not THAT dumb. He has proven to not be too smart about trading, especially the 5-method, but remember that his MAIN purpose is to attract followers. And his most successful methods are through misrepresenting what others post, posting trickery, scams, and outright lies that fool the newcomers.

Keep going!! You're almost up to Vincent's 65% win rate. But remember, your 61% win rate doesn't mean anything yet because you have not used a specific method for at least 1000 trades and 3 years to prove it--at least, that is what Vincent claims you must do. LOL.

Hey Hasib, look at this chart again. Do you see that a winning trading method can be developed from what is shown? Ignore the orange MA because that was the one that you said to use. I will replace it with the IMT green/red line.
By the way, those are regular price candlesticks.

OK, a hint: You use the IMT line as a direction filter.
Another hint: Use the TDI green, red, and yellow.
