i was open another trade early today
i took a buy signal at GBPUSD, and close my mt4
until now it's been up 4 pip

maybe i took the right signal this time ?


i enter the trade a bit too late after the 2nd bullish HA close

Yes, you did.
Try to enter when you see this:
post#2.... 1st Trading Chart... Note on the TDI showing your entry set ups... green crossing red enter on that new PA candle...
Avoid this:
post#6...... If it's candle 3 or more don't enter... find another trade set up.

Use this script to place arrow at order entry point.

Eelfranz did not mention this candle in this thread and I remembered it only vaguely from many many moons ago as it does not seem to be generally used BUT for those who are perhaps wondering about the "Yao Ming" - "candle?".

1) Sam-FX (Monday 12 July 2010) - If Marubozu candlestick is real person, it will be like “Yao Ming” in the real world, very tall.

2) Here on FF:
- Sonic R. System - input "Yao Ming" in "Search This Thread" top left - you will get a few pages where a few people use/refers to it.

- vsa with Malcolm - input "Yao Ming" in "Search This Thread" top left - you will get a few pages where a few people use/refers to it - (the largest volume bar(@HiddenGap) that can be seen for some time)

You can try to get something via GOOGLE if you want but not much.

With that said, why would a poster inject this candle name into this thread when it has nothing to contribute to the 5-method? Because it is yet another of his many efforts of trolling for attention so that others will ask him questions because of the introduction of clutter and confusion.

BigE did mentioned the time on #1 where you can refer to.

I only trade 1hr charts during the the 1st 3 hours of the USA OPEN and 4hr trades at night. I check for set ups at 10pm Pacific,2am and close all 4 hour trades by 6am Pacific....

But he also mentioned this in #1264
Take any pair and time frame you like to trade... go thru old charts. Each pair has certain times of the day when the action starts repeatedly... over and over. Write the pair down and the most active trading times that happen over and over.

Hi Tabary,

I am with you buying GU. Just that my entry timeframe is m15.

Just as what I mentioned to you in previous posts, I trade reversal with more confluences.

Just apply a few PA as of #647
1. Previous Highs/Lows
2. Rejections
3. Trend

Price was in a downtrend but extended. Last Friday it spiked up and dropped but failed to break previous high 1.366. Price went to ranging and rejected at 1.366 multiple times followed by a fakeout and formation of Higher Highs and Lower Lows. Uptrend, regardless of its duration in the future, is formed and entered at TDI green cross red buy signal as price rejected at range low again. One last liquidity grab but then price went up as anticipated.

That is what I mean Price Action and TDI form a trading plan without use of additional indicators and candlestick patterns.
Like driving a car, you look at the road to drive, not looking at a bunch of mirrors and screens (indicators), or counting the white dash lines on the ground (rigid patterns), you just look at the road and turn the wheels as it curves left and right. And you go with a green light.

Did you set any target tp? For me, I aways set 1:2 win ratio, and after new h4 candle generated, I put my SL below the candle.

Glad to see more people joining for actual trading system discussion.
I suspect that your postings of success using the 5-method along with the basic reasoning for the entries and exits has encouraged others to join the discussion. All of the off-tooic material posted in the past, and that some members adamantly continue to post, likely was a big factor at turning away newcomers due to all of the clutter and confusion generated.

I saw it a bit late but put it in anyway, if I had been on time it would have reached 50 pips so took it for half of that, considering the time of day.
