Better using RSI (non repainting in MT4,5) instead of/with TDIs? See the white vertical lines in these pictures (the SteelBlue rectangle is the Tokyo channel and the Blue one is London breakout; sell trade was 33.5 p):

GU Sep 24 H4 update:

- the 2AM 4hr candle did not close with strong momentum, there is the BRN 1.3700 and the pullback into the Master Candle MC[3] consolidation zone

- I always look for a strong bearish close below the MC[3] Low to get a good sell entry

- tried to get a H1 entry

Are you sure that you have the same settings for the RSI version and the TDI version? It looks to me like you do not: Compare the fastest line for each and you can see they are not even close for tracking each other, and they should be VERY close. In fact, most of the time they could be superposed to yield a single line.

hi Lotuscamp

your chart is 'too busy' according to and using Big E' term ... he was near 70% blind due to his illness and too many colours and lines on his chart he would consider 'too busy'.


However, when we want to achieve 'best chance for success' ... we never stop learning from the OP Big E.

This thread is about The Craig Harris Method really using the TDI as a helping indicator to guide us for entries & exits to completion.

For anyone who knows me... you know I'm always testing, tweeking, etc. to find improvements.

Well, the other day I added the Synergy channel on my 15 minute charts (5 SMA/Hi & 5 SMA/Lo) doing some more testing. What I discovered was by blending the two methods together... One is always confirmation for the other.

Sometimes the Synergy makes the entry call first and sometime Craigs makes the entry call first.

But I ALWAYS stick to the Tokyo Channel 40+ pip range if I'm using Craigs method. For day trading you might want to lean heavier on Synergy. You decide by studying charts back 1-3 months.

As stated above... it's a blending to give you the best chance for success.

AJ Sep24 M15

- we have a H4 inside Bar ... CONSOLIDATION.
- the H4 high-low range shows the consolidation and also the Tokyo channel.

- trade M15 is the way to trade H4 consolidation

> you can compare the TDI Realtime and using RSI(13)/MA(2)/MA(3)

> the TDI with its VB gives you additional information ahead ... like an early warning!

GJ, I did some thing else, My sell is already running, I have took half profit.

EJ Took small profit and Took small loss, Net loss in EJ only 17 pips loss in EJ.

Risk management, Risk management, Risk Management. It is everything.
You will open lots of bad entry yet you will make profit just manage your risk.

After few losing trade don't increase your risk.

Not strategy, Fear of losing money is holding you back.

Let me tell your a truth, when there is no modern indicator people trade market profitably, when there is no modern indicator people lose money too.
Some of the Indicator creators think, Because of them lot of people are making profit. In fact it is just opposite. Most of the prop firm traders use Clean chart with out indicator.
