I took the same trade with Daily candle price action, note the previous 2 days DBHLC Sep15 and Sep16, also the Daily Sep14 Pin Bar.

set up was a Phx62 PCRF 3bar swing high REVERSAL candle with Stoch %K cross %D signal at 'resistance' CONFLUENCE of previous days Open(Sep15) and Close (Sep16) and the BRN 1.3800

It was a 'set and forget' trade with TP hit.

I trade follow Daily candle. simple entry

Just closed my H1 trade...

of course intraday retracement can scare the shit out of some traders

you need to have the mental strategies to fight in this market and accept some losses along the way.

No. "If" means I have a healthy respect for changing market conditions. Anything can change at any time, and have a fancy RSI on a chart does not mitigate that fact.

Only if your limit order get hit you will know bears are in control. How long does is that "if" valid Jmn? One bar, two bars before you cancel the limit order.

My orders stay on for one week.

With TDI green cross red and the advice BigE posted how to use TDI the trader has a solid set of rules to follow.

Absolutely. At some point you will learn PA and then simply shed the TDI.

I was reading through some of Big E’s posts, and #701 popped out at me, and wanted to share. He shows how he looked at candle sizes, as well as WICKS of the candles to determine entry and exit decisions. Figured some may appreciate it.

Hi Bob

You are working hard at learning. That Post#731 is a good training chart with many PA to look at and burn into our heads.

However, that Post#731 did not use one of the many features of the TDI one of which is 'predictive' feature of the RSI momentum indicator. I know that Big E knew that because Dean Malone taught us in his trading room and also recorded one of his tutorial videos.

The answer is actually quite simple and I had posted many times in the past about this and to avoid taking such trades.

Post #701 is another very important Training chart.

> Note the Stoch(8,3,3) with Slope v1.1
that is from the Craig Harris Stochastic Method and at that time it was coded just for that. It has some features in the slope shown and how Craig uses that to teach traders his swing highs and swing low and his True REVERSAL candle.

Eric was trading the US stock market for almost 10 years before he retired and jumped onto the spot forex market. He was subscriber to Lance Beggs who taught trading Price Action using Japanese candlesticks. I know back then we use the MACD and RSI on some occasions to validate some market conditions just for study and comparison of trading opportunities and to know where the herd are.

Today Lance Beggs is still teaching trading with clean charts ... only candlesticks.

Looking at the TDI Indicator ...

On the chart below I have turned the blue lines on the TDI to magenta so it's easier to see. Note how when the lines tighten up that the market tends to flatten out and as they open up... so does the PA. Also note that when the green line goes above on top or below the the bottom magenta (blue) lines that momentum picks up. Dean who made the TDI Indicator , recommends that when the green line crosses back into the channel to exit the trade. Remember too that if you use the yellow line that it represents trader sentiment.

it is only for those traders who have mastered Big E' 5-Method and can follow his Post#2617 and stripped both the Stoch and TDI from their trading charts.
2scoops asked me a long time ago what would be the most beneficial to learning this method for higher success... The answer was simple... study old charts for set ups... now strip down everything on that chart at that point... trends, angles, S/R levels, News times, Stoch angle within the 20-80 lines..etc. Burn it into your memory... I spent 2 years doing that.... so what does that mean?

It takes me 15 seconds to strip a chart down to nothing including the TDI & Stoch's. Taking clean trades is a breeze for me... why?

I can take you to water but I can't make you drink... follow the simple entry & exit rules. Forget other indicators. I went down those roads so you wouldn't have too...

There is a handful who trade it correctly here who are rewarded nicely...

"Double Entry" confirmation

Note in the chart below the box. You can see we have a double entry confirmation. On Craigs system we would enter on the second candle of the reversal and with Synergys System you have a confirmation after the candle closes above the upper magenta channel to go long. Click chart.

I consider this higher probability setups with Double Entry confirmation. When you know what to look for and have the patience and wait for the market to present it , you can decide on your own.
