Volatility has been extremely low during this period of consolidation.

So I'd be careful because if we get increased volatility and it breaks out of this triangle formation on the daily and resumes its upward trend.

Won't be very much fun if you're short.

Saturday night thought: Long Dec JPYUSD. I was thinking to enter ~ 0.009124 and expect it heads to 0.009300 then perhaps 0.009600 or better.

The chart also suggests downward pressure & could revisit 0.009092 and even 0.009060 and below. I'd also buy A failed retest of those levels.

I was going to put protective stops on this market but my limited experience is these get flushed out.

USD/JPY has broke out of its normal trend its been going at for the past few weeks. However, just this past week, it has started in an upward direction past the rising pennant. It's safe to say that the USD/JPY is closely correlated to the US 10-year yields as both are breaking formations.Take a look at the following link to read more about what else our analysts have noticed about this pair this week:

Probably will take a little longer than just today to see if this hits - but one idea to consider for sure!

With volatility increasing we should start to see bigger swing trades both ways.

Probably see it test 110.40 - 110.70.
