hey Folks

please bear with this as I need to explain a few things to @Tekkies to help him learn and hope he will stop losing money.

1) My post Trade Report heading is written very clear. It is Aug 01 to 31 trading period, and this covers my 20-trading days trading cycle which he does not understand.

2) Those are are trade based on Daily / Weekly charts which are my Long Swing Trading strategy. I do not close my Long Swing Trades every day therefore some trades are rollover from one month to the following month. This means trades open in July and Closed in August are reported in August Trade Report.

3) Obviously @Tekkies is confused with my Sep03 NFP trades which are not in my Trade Report for obvious reason.

These are my posts for the Sep03 NFP trade and if @Tekkies had followed my posts in realtime according to the market hours, he would have probably cut his buy trade which is now in -14% DD.

What were the lessons learned?
- trading volatile market like NFP release is speculative
- Big E was right about how to trade news i.e. when he scalp , he would scalp the 4hr and he would wait till after the news released.

#Trade Report SHF#

I just went over to the SHF forum and check on the P&L calculation.
According to the developers there, it is correct how their Trade report calculate the P&L based on Nett P&L and Account balance.

You can check this against your other calculated P/L.

BTW, when Big E mentioned in his post (Post#139) that most trading robot EAs don't work, he was referring to a few of the EAs by SteveHopwood.
That multi-purpose trade manager MPTM trade manager EA is working well with a few minor bugs - some fixed here in FF. The newer version MPTM is in the SHF. Its a cleaner version.
