eu price alone looks like a head fake.

that said, es does have some bullish hew to it.

think i'll keep very light today, it being friday and all.

The "market maker" decided to go long this time with target the sell limit orders. There are much at 1910, but he may change mind again and make the price drop, by hitting stops of buyers this time.

Market maker is not a person in real, its fictional, we can't follow every institution, or broker, so we suppose that there is One.

The market maker is profiting from the spread and with options hedging when its book is unbalanced, because he is sitting in the opposite trade many times so we can have access in any price.

Anyway its not good to trade at the last day of the month and Friday!

Market makers are typically large banks or financial institutions. They help to ensure there's enough liquidity in the markets, meaning there's enough volume of trading so trades can be done seamlessly. Without market makers, there would likely be little liquidity.



The NYSE Arca equities platform provides for three types of participants: Market Makers, Lead Market Makers and Order Routing ETP Holders.
Market Makers
A Market Maker is an ETP holder or firm that has registered with NYSE Arca to trade securities. Market Makers are obligated to maintain continuous two-sided Q Orders in all registered securities.
Lead Market Makers
Any registered Market Maker may apply to become a Lead Market Maker (LMM). LMMs operate off-the-exchange trading with more stringent quoting obligations and in some cases, participation guarantees. LMMs must maintain specified cash or liquid assets based upon the number of issues traded.

sellers showing on ES - so prehaps a dollar focused day today. i have a short on ES @ 4392

Weekends are good so we can correct our mistakes if, what we did wasn't on purpose of finding our edge to our trading and get back on Monday, so we can start fresh with new mind again.

This was the market makers opportunity to profit after he saw the big 4 hours candle. Many retail traders would join and pick their side at 1850. He also went for the limit orders at 1895. Now he can do the opposite and profit both ways.

That was the situation when I originally posted, after that of course that we fell below the effing trendline..

It took out stops from a recent H4 stop cluster, then reversed as it does 95% of times.
Then some big players sold hard destroying any trend lines that were decorating charts.

My guess is there was stuff all liquidity above so it had to hunt buyers instead.
