Unfortunately, Rule#1 is too often either misunderstood or simply applied incorrectly.
This SIGNAL is not a SWITCH that triggers a trade entry!! This SIGNAL is like an other signal--it is to get your attention or ALERT you that some condition has occurred. AFTER you see the signal, you evaluate the surrounding conditions and only then make a decision as to what ACTION you will take.

When you are driving in town and the traffic SIGNAL at the intersection ahead turns from green to red, is that a SWITCH that immediately brings your vehicle to a stop, or is it just an ALERT that you need to do an EVALUATION and make a DECISION about what action you will take? The EXPECTED action by those around you is that you will stop the vehicle. But perhaps you are in an emergency situation that results in your decision for what action to take to be to SPEED UP and continue through the intersection while the signal is red.

One SIGNAL, MORE THAN ONE possible ACTION to choose from.
One SWITCH activated, ONE ACTION occurs.

green cross red: are you using it as a SIGNAL or as a SWITCH?

Why do people claim that an EA using Rule#1 is a failure? Most likely because the EA is coded to use the SIGNAL as a SWITCH to enter a trade instead of only as a signal to EVALUATE the surrounding conditions!! If anyone actually has an EA coded to correctly use Rule#1 as only a SIGNAL, then have the criteria of Rule#3 (or any others that they like to use) been included for EVALUATION (filtering)? And if yes, is the code available for public view? If the code is not available for public scrutiny, then any claims about the performance of the EA are essentially meaningless.

More material that has nothing to do with the 5-method (remember the 5-method? BigE opened THIS thread SPECIFICALLY to discuss ONLY his 5-method!). Just more clutter to confuse the naïve.

I share this system in FF many years ago. This system still works well. In fact it works much better than your TDI, TMS, TMSR. Trust me I have tried what your trying it now and feeling you have some Holi grail called TDI.

some Idiot comes here and say I don't use my system that is not true, I still use ema in my trading,
I have tried many kind of MA, I have listen to many coder they say ema is not good. Truth is in EA ema may not works but in manual trading, EMA is the best, HMA, KAMA, all other new MA may have advantage in EA world but not in the Manual trading world. some good coder use ema in their system and make profit. Another truth is EA traders fail like manual trader, In fact many EA traders fail.

I know lot of youtuber and EA trader will not like EMA and they will tell you moving average is lagging indicator. But truth is you need Lagging indicator in your trading.
Try EMA or LWMA. You will find good results than TMS. Try it 6 month. Don't gamble open single entry trade.
I know some idiots like David who use 20 entry as a new trader you may think he is doing something good. Truth is This kind of stupid present in all over the internet. If you follow those You never learn trading you will learn gambling. Use single entry and single exit. Don't listen to gambler. Never, Never increase your lot size after losing a trade. I know, I know I am talking against Craig Harris the teacher of BigE. Yes I disagree with BigE many point, I disagree with EMM many point one is multiple exit.
Now new trend is begin that is, I am smarter than other trader because I trade smart money. I call them stupid, Those stupid never read good traders books and those stupid never know what is they talking about. Peter Lynch in his book told smart money is not so smart until you thought they are smart.
Trade your method don't believe other people system works better. Be good at your own system. Manage risk.
It doesn't' matter you use HA or APB or Candle as long as your consistent in your trading, You will lose money not because you use HA instead of APB. You will lose money because of other important factors, Those factors you will not find in TMS, TMSR, Synergy pro system.
Ok enough for the day.

Oh I added the TDI cross indicator in my chart, you see your self how many tdi cross is you need. Do you think TDI cross will confused you. Do you think You need TDI at all? if you have trained eye you will see TDI gives lot of unnecessary cross signal.

Ryuryu has got a good point, Fixed TP does not work. Fixing TP at 10pips, 25pips, etc is losing in a long run

BigE did not set a fixed TP. He also practiced timed trade close at PT 6AM if trading H4.

as suggested by BigE in #647, S/R are factored into trade plans. You can use price levels to plan your entries and exits so as to increase the odds of winning and profit

Fixed TP cannot help you to get this 14.92R trade in AU, 6.4R in EU, etc.

Yes, you are right!

Repaint is when signals in the past appear/disappear with new data comes.
But here we have not classic repaint. It just shows wrong data. And more time you are using it without refresh more errors accumulated.
MT5 version I mentioned has no such a "feature".

TDI is not better than RSI or Stochastic. It is about the same. It is oscillator. And it is useless as entry points generator, because it is oscillator. It has only 0-100 range and will not work on trending markets. It will work, wrong word. And will work good, but signals generated will be not good. Because it is oscillator! But it is perfect to find exit points.

In fact TMS is "if 2 red next red" and "if 2 green next green". That's all in fact. Also there are London session added. Just because of volatility. I can't understand what people are "learning" for years here.

- I have a few key price levels (violet lines) above and these are potential 'resistance' in LTF.
- the move up would not be blue APB/HA all the way
- market does what it wants and be prepared for Market Type change
- the move to FE161.8 is about 450pips

Yes the TDI green red is not “repaint” because a repainting indicator is intentionally updating its values at each candle.

Some traders will never get that concept because of their obsession on wrong information...

Yes. TDI is a signal. Then applying PA analysis using the elements mentioned in #647 to make decision of whether to enter the trade.
