But does he also mentioned what criteria such bias was made of, where? Not sure what price action has to do with it in this context.

I think Billy said to me, that his bias for the BillyBar is what ever direction the 00-04 range was touched at last place, before the BillyBar is formed at 08:15.

So if for example the 00-04 range was last touched to the short side only sell entries on the BillyBar would be placed.

Today with developing of the BillyBar it last touched the low of that 00-04 range, so only shorts would be placed right?

However Billy then also said a few times that he does't care about things like trend, direction ("bias") for his trade. So quiet confusing and contradicting statements but no offense.

Same with the magic compounding factor. What is compounding here? You can compound a single trade by entering more than a single position or extend the take profit target but then you also do not longer trade the main statistics giving X probability to reach X TP or not after entering at X.

You can compound by just not touching the money on the brokers account and consistently keep trading your strategy without taking out any funds.

Which one is it? I think Claudia some day ago also mentioned compounding again in context of the BillyBar setup and what Billy is doing.

However with some other past posts Billy also said that his +5 TP for the day is all he need/needed to make a living. But then you asked how exactly that is going to work out considering in the fails that will eat up all these little profits, which is a fact. So then you suddenly here of "compounding" and "fixing" of the fails but without any real clues how to do that. I think there were also comments saying that he makes use of some kind of "advanced grid trading". I mean...

But back to the topic of having directional filters to establish a pre-defined "bias" to only enter in one direction if the setup occurs. I tested using this 00-04 range, a simple moving average and some other things used by people to define the "trend/direction" of the current market and then only take entries into that direction.

With the BillyBar setup what you then going to filter out of potential losses is also what you will be missing on the winning side to be able to end up profitable in sum again. So not really much of a help, unless maybe somebody has even a "better" bias/filter to use here that is really producing better results than 50/50 by leaving you with far more winners.

Isn´t there just one real simple trading strategy in the world with a real chance of ending up at a consistent few pips a day where you can trade only one market for a pre-defined time horizont a day like UK open until NY open, without all that "maybe this maybe that"?

If you read all these threads on forums you see people making hundeds of pips all day long without a problem... I would be just happy with 1 Pip net a day if that would be a consistent average result at the end of a week :/
