- Daily Lower Adr
- RN 1795
- Stop hunt done
- fair gap filled and
- landed to previous m15 ob

it probably has been asked before, where I can find the talk or explanation about which order block will hold and so on. Sorry for asking if it has been already been asked.

Could someone point to the page or if it has not been asked could someone explain

On EURUSD I was looking on wrong way.

I believe that the eurusd trade did not work because structure on higher timeframe like 5 min and 15min was bullish

OB alone will not help, need to add more concepts while you look charts:

Price does two things
a. Liquidity hunts / Stop hunts
b. fill the gaps

thats it.

How it does:
it fills some fair value gap, and take liquidity at the same time and lands into an OB <<--- all three concepts in this refer my above chart.

- mark rounder number / average daily ranges / fibs as confluence <<--- with time things will get clearer

Just to add on point a. Tom Williams says: "Why play around with the prices? Well, the market-makers want to trap as many traders as possible into poor positions. An extra bonus for them includes catching stop-loss orders, which is a lucrative business in itself."

So that move is killing 2 birds with one stone - trap trades into poor positions (for example sending them to the wrong direction) and catch some stops (as a bonus).

Rotation and Resistance become Support where there are Buy Stops...

Edit: This can be seen on BOS, Mitigation Block and Breaker Block.

It is basically what you already know from Price Action point of view. This is taken from a footprint chart that is more like what RickM is using. This is a way of looking at Price Action from a volume point of view to understand why price returns to that level or zone. You can see the aggressive buying caused a price to leave a gap while at the same time breaking the structure and taking out the Buy Stops. Then after price returns to fill the gap (imbalance) before it goes up again after some traders got a chance to buy at lower prices.

I have been adding volume to the way I analyse the markets and of cause I didn't dump the concepts we are using.

Thanks Pumi, Its no harm using such tool that's helps improve trading. I may try it too after couple of months.

Looking AC here, am I right to say the red box is the bearish order box, where the buy candle is the last buy candle before the sell start?

Also, the yellow zone is the unfilled gap?

If so, would you say it is going to be filled SOON before it will continue to go down? Otherwise price will be too far away and may be difficult to return?

I know your thread is for 1M TF, and I believe price action works on all timeframe, but surely looking at 4H and 1M, we will see different OB, if I want to trader higher timeframe, you have any advice please?

What to look for to be raided:
- yesterday highs / lows stop hunts
- last three days highs stop hunts
- market structure

however gold has retraced to yesterdays 50% to Half RN 1807.50 and show a BOS and then SL hunting.
- on Daily all EMA 200, 100, 50 aligned
- on weekly price is still inside bearish bar
- on monthly two candles if combined is a wick

Americans leaving Afghanistan means these funds will no more spent on war but on Americans $$ may gain strength, may be but that is my feeling.
