What is that indicator you are using that is allowing you to see candlesticks from different time frames on a single chart?

I knew I was going to sell as price wasn’t supposed to go above 1.1970, but price failed to drop through 1920 like it was supposed to (nice trade though) Had to take next strike area for a short. That also failed short and got stuck at 1940. Price had to go up again until it had to take out 1970 and flip the sellers, providing the short I was looking for. Then it dropped and now there’s no more buyer demand at 1940.
Next it has to drop to test 1920 again, and if that fails we keep going down. Price must go higher to something something whatever buyers….
geez, it’s all supply and demand isn’t it? In this case just demand outrunning supply.

they never had to go to 1.2
but sure, if 1920 holds we might otherwise take another shot at it.
Depends what the market says at the time. But on a larger cycle it should probably drop.
I can’t predict out beyond a few days. I mean we weren’t supposed to go back to 1970 which is why holding a short from there in a swing trade was the wrong strategy from earlier in the week

Most of us in here know by now you have issues with the COT report. There is no sense in repeatedly complaining about it.

Some people in here like to use this information for trading. They share it because other traders may find it useful. You should respect their right to do this without giving them a hassle.

COT or Commitment Of Traders charts are not as reliable as some may think.
Due to restrictions set by CFTC regulations, only around 75-80% of the positions are made available for reporting. And usually the most recent positions are kept hidden, which makes the COT carts pretty useless especially during a high volatile markets.

Reportable Positions
Clearing members, futures commission merchants, and foreign brokers (collectively called reporting firms) file daily reports with the Commission. Those reports show the futures and option positions of traders that hold positions above specific reporting levels set by CFTC regulations. If, at the daily market close, a reporting firm has a trader with a position at or above the Commission's reporting level in any single futures month or option expiration, it reports that trader's entire position in all futures and options expiration months in that commodity, regardless of size. The aggregate of all traders' positions reported to the Commission usually represents 70 to 90 percent of the total open interest in any given market. From time to time, the Commission will raise or lower the reporting levels in specific markets to strike a balance between collecting sufficient information to oversee the markets and minimizing the reporting burden on the futures industry.

That's why it is best to not put all of your eggs in one basket. COT is helpful to a certain degree, but I wouldn't base my trades on it. Such data is best used in combination with other things.

It is important to note that COT data is not needed to trade successfully. But others may find it useful, and we should respect that.

I edited my comment (before you posted your response). I noted that, in saying, 'other things,' I am referring to things having to do with Technical Analysis.

Just don’t pollute the forum with attention seeking garbage man. Newbies are enough confused from before. People need targeting information, not a vague blah blah blah. If you have it, share it. If not then wait until you get it.
