DislikedHi guys, I have a problem. The script works great but opens 4 orders at the same time. I can't open global variables with F3 (F3 adjusts my screen brightness) so I open them from Tools - Global Variables, but the image below appears. Please, how did you do it? {image}Ignored
Dislikedhi guys i have been recently installed the script looks like the risk/reward ratio is fixed on 1.5, and any time i want to drag the tp line(or sl line) for different ratios it comeback to 1.5 anyone knows how to change this so i can set ratios manually? Appreciate your kind response.Ignored
DislikedOver 8 years and still the most simple and efficient risk management tool out there.There is just one thing I can think of that would improve it (apart from the colour of that damn dark blue TP line!) Has anyone figured out a way to make the lines "Selected" by default, so you can drag them around without clicking on each time? Maybe someone knows of another script or indicator that will auto select all horizontal lines? {image}

DislikedThis seems to do pretty well from Earnforexand it's pretty fast at calculating. Was wondering if there was a coder who could insert the option to "execute" the pending/market order which would have been calculated, after that we would have a solid indicator. {image} {image}{image}{image}{image}{image} {file}

Disliked{quote} You say "we would have a solid indicator". If the above calculator is an indicator (I haven't looked at or in the zip file), it cannot be modified to actually execute an order unless it is converted into an EA, as only EA's can execute market orders. It's not a particularly big deal to convert an indicator to an EA but, you need to remember that whilst you can have many indicators running at the same time, you can only have a single EA operating at any particular time. HTH.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I understand what you saying about ea operating at any particular time, in an example like the screen shot below, I mark supply and demand zones on the chart, and I'd use the potential EA to place the pending order after it calculates the lotsize. After order is placed I can easily switch to another symbol on the same chart using the symbol changer and do the same so there's no need to install on multiple charts. If someone has other EAs to use they can open another chart and use them and just use this one chart to place orders so there...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I develop MT4/MT5 indicators/EAs (for my own use) but when not using a specific trading strategy specific EA, I actually use a really good Trade Manager EA from the MQL5 marketplace. Personally, I wouldn't bother trying to convert something like your calculator indicator into an EA - I would just buy the following (or something similar) that does everything your calculator does (and much more), is used and therefore tested by hundreds of other users and is continually updated and enhanced - https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/30750...Ignored

Disliked{quote} The main point is that you were originally thinking of making an indicator that was designed to do one thing into an EA that does another. If the EA you have found was built to do what you want, then you have a much better solution whether it's free or not. Job done!Ignored
