Are COT reports late? I can only see the report from 08/06/2021

I can feel your pain. Even though i am profitable, i still experience that thing almost everytime. It's annoying really. Even though my trades are good, my timing is bad. I can't really find the exact top and exact bottom. I hold my trades for weeks and even months but first weeks are almost always red. Then it recovers.

One solution that i do is waiting until price confirms that the market have started to work in my way. Let's say I am gonna short a pair, i wait for a bearish daily candle approximately around 1x ATR big. Then i jump in but that also means sacrificing 50-100 pips. It also becomes annoying when market make a pullback the next day. So i really don't know how to pick the best time to enter. I gotta work on that.

Charts with levels, I will not add numbers to it, just open a chart and put on some time so you can be ready for the next week, the last one was a "bloodbath" for EU, as it broke multiple levels searching to find a bottom yet, will it!

I think it's here. I remember this area: 1860-1870 was extremely strong support on the way up a few months ago. I remember trying to target shorts below it and failing to get through. It's sort of appropriate that the price would stop after three black crows at this level. I foresee a 100 pip pop up to retrace, but after that continuation down to 1600 at least.

Watching gold getting slaughtered is not fun. I have a call option LEAP on GDX (gold miners ETF) that I didn't straddle with a short term put when the market was giving me hints at around $40 a couple of weeks ago. Now puts are expensive. But it's okay, it's a long term LEAP out to January 2023, so plenty of time to recover if it does drop further. Or I might just close it out at a small loss depending on what happens Monday.
