Congrats to the all guys who bought EURUSD. After that ADP numbers yesterday, it takes some guts to stay/open long today. We deserved it, let's make a Friday closing celebration hahaha

NFP failed to rise above forecast and now the price is staying above 2150 below 2180 (2150/80 first red zone). I hope you didn't took any bearish trade.

I prefer to trade Monday, or even Tuesday, so better stay out you don't know how the market will be after the weekend, because anything might happen on the news and you may see serious losses at the opening.

We may see ranging market conditions from here and on, I'll update my charts and post here again later, or at the weekend.

It took out 2133/64 and now its ready to move above the trendline (chart) and test 2208 and 2251.

I have opened a short position at 21612 on EURUSD, as I believe we may see some more downside on this pair. I may add another short. I will wait to see how things look on Sunday. Please keep in mind that I am trading in both directions, where opportunity knocks. Having said that, I still have a strong bullish bias. You can see why I have a strong bullish bias here.

The green lines on the image below are of interest to me. They are possible targets for my short position(s). The yellow lines show a demand zone. It's possible strong bullish activity could take place at the demand zone. It's also possible price could push through it. Time will tell. I take trading one day at a time, and do my best to respond accordingly.

I don't place much faith in individual candle patterns anymore. I've seen that particular one disregarded many times...especially if it's in an uptrend, which we are still in. If we were in a downtrend then yeah probably the next few 4H candles would be bearish.

I don't neglect technicals. Fundamental Analysis is important, but Technical Analysis is of greater importance when it comes to finding trading opportunities. If I am wrong for shorting EURUSD, then I can accept that. But technicals tell me the probability of being right is on my side. Please keep in mind that I am still bullish on EURUSD, as the technicals indicate this pair is still in a bullish trend. Having said that, if I see an opportunity to trade against the trend, then I will do so, but not without valid reasons. The technicals provide me with the signals, and I do my best to respond to what I see on the charts.

I understand. Some traders are more cautious than others. I tend to be more cautious. But sometimes it makes sense to me to step outside of my comfort zone and take a risk.

I do agree with that. I'm choosing to hold my longs for now. 2157-2160 is an area of interest for me. On the H1 it looks like a regular old bull-flag forming, with liquidity brewing underneath. The expectation is it will break to the upside soon.

Then again it is Friday afternoon and volume is thin, so perhaps nothing will happen.
