Close short, nimble profits...it will bounce back up again. The pce data doesnt justify the big leg down. I think v likely it needs to go back up

The pandemic or even might turn to endemic is real. Oil px is all but speculation. Lets see what truth beholds in the end. I do not believe for any instant moment that the opec members are happily sitting on table n agreeing to the restricted output. They give some, they must take some. I believe they are behind the oil price bullishness, not the retail as what the media painted. So they are taking all the dumb shorts and also creating a big dumb pool at the top n then all these will come crushing down someday.

i think the difference is i am a day trader (although sometimes i hold 2 or 3 days) and you are a swing trader.

not really a swing too, sometimes if for ex today i open position with nice profit, i will close and wait for best setup.
