Disliked{quote} Oh ok I didn't read that refresh thing, I did miss something then. Thank you, I will refresh my charts before opening a new trade. Is it only for 4h charts or for all timeframe?Ignored
I apply it to all TF.
1. BigE preferred to use the H4 and turned off computer in between sessions, the TDI on his chart was always refreshed in his chart for analysis
2. TMS is applicable for all TimeFrames as of BigE, although he preferred H1/4.
3. the TDI used by BigE in #25 is unfortunately flawed and generates wrong values if new candles form and not refreshing chart
The interesting observation is BigE analysed and opened trades according to a correct TDI presentation. Once trades are open, charts were not refreshed until close. As of my study such routine causes 1) standard entry with TDI, and 2) often early or false signals to exit. Therefore BigE did re-entry if he believed the swing would go on (TDI bounces).
However you would apply the rules and solutions is entirely up to you.
Just sharing, my solution is use a non-repainting TDI (TDi supposed to be non-repainting by nature), so I go for TradingView which has better coding environment and less “repainting” flaw possibility.
I now also determine exits using the correct TDI values, from the result it eliminates surprises and early exit. I do see better result after applying the solution.
Trade safe and all the best
