I don't know if there is a problem with my chart's data or not. But if the data is correct, then this gap will likely get filled at some point in the near future.

Yeah, there may be a problem with my data. Ironically, I am using two Oanda MT4 accounts. One shows the gap and the other doesn't. That is why I was unsure.

Using the Oanda desktop client and there is no gap here.

He put me on ignore when I didn't respond favorably to his harmonic pattern. I wasn't even being mean about it. He apparently gets offended when people disagree with him. Definitely some personality issues with the guy.

UPDATE: I changed my mind. If it closes below the previous low, I will put a sell limit order at 38.2% (assuming the body will be below this percentage) of its range, and another sell limit order at 74.6% of its range.

If the candle body closes above 38.2%, then the sell limit orders will be placed at 74.6% and the opening price of the previous candle.

If you don't mind my asking, what kind of R:R are you looking to get out of this trade? Just curious, trying to expand my understanding by seeing how others think.

I don't concern myself too much with R:R. But I am looking at hitting one of the following targets: 38.2%, 50%, 61.8% (see yellow highlight). Keep in mind that I am essentially going against the trend. So there is more risk involved. I am willing to take that risk. It is also possible that I might not get filled.

Looking for a second opportunity to get in between 1.2220 and 1.2225 for a long position. Observing the 15 mins chart of today the price mostly stayed away from the daily pivot point. Even after the London open, the price went sideways and then started to break down. I am thinking from here on it is going to be a slow trading day where the price is going to just move sideways between the 15 pip range. So If the price comes down I am looking to go long from there. Please share your opinion as this is what I am currently observing about the Eur/Usd.

If the current candle closes below the previous candle without filling at least one of my sell limit orders, then I will delete my sell limit orders, as I am anticipating a continuation of the upward trend. I will then look for buying opportunities at lower prices.

buying pressure of my trades is very strong, its not letting price drop

trading view is loaded with people explaing with charts, detailed charts for past 3 weeks of a great sell opportunity

It's struggling to hit 74.6% of the previous candle's range on the 4HR. Lol
So, I decided to open a sell position just a few pips shy of it. I still have a sell limit order near 74.6%, however.
