Why people should not use tdi.
1. It make you over think.
2. It helps you over trade.
3. It repaint.
4. It is momentum oscillator, every momentum change it react to it. results is over trading and losing money.
5. Creator of the TDI is a course seller, He stop using TDI, His YouTube channel use now candlestick chart with out TDI. now a days he don't come IN front of people.
6. In Real backtest TDI has small edge. but The edge is very small. In manual trading human error will consume it.
7. Lets talk about BIGE he was a beginner he thought his TDI method is the best. Question is how you know BigE is a beginner prove is he use two Identical momentum indicator like stoch and TDI. It prove that he don't even understand indicator as much as we understand now.
8. BigE has limitation another prove is that he use two indicator both are 2 line cross.
9. BigE never talks about many important topic of trading It also prove he was a newbie.
10. Follower of the tdi lose money again again and again. if your little bit active in this thread you already know it.
11. some of the people have some good results only for a small period of time. some of the people has good results but they use other things in their trading decision making.

Hi Hasib,

I am afraid you have made some fundamental mistakes in your hasty conclusion.

1. It make you over think.
2. It helps you over trade.
Fact: Rule-based discretionary trading strategy Trading Made Simple triggers trading analysis upon TDI cross/bounce. PA analysis is also involved in decision making, and often it is ELIMIATION as of BigE. Over-thinking and Over-trading is the bad habit of trading, such as opening positions after positions with 5% loss each until at 99% drawdown.

3. It repaint.
Fact: Indicator shared at #25 is a TDI indicator with slight coding flaw leading to wrong reference values upon candle close when new candle forms. Operational solutions include trading the H4 and "turn off the puter" in between sessions, so chart is refreshed every time during market analysis as of BigE's trading routine. Another solution is use indicators that can correctly cache the values.
Fact 2: TDI green and red lines are RSI MAs. Both RSI and MA are non-repainting at nature. You need to study the concept of RSI and MA

Fact: It is the problem of incompatible traders being unable to follow the TMS rules and analyze opportunities with PA. For example, opening trades simply because of TDI green cross red, leading to a series of 5% loss until 99% drawdown.

7. Lets talk about BIGE he was a beginner he thought his TDI method is the best. Question is how you know BigE is a beginner prove is he use two Identical momentum indicator like stoch and TDI. It prove that he don't even understand indicator as much as we understand now.

Fact: TDI and Stoch are different oscillators. RSI is momentum and Stoch is likelihood of trend based on close price. TMS uses RSI as momentum confirmation and Stoch as directional confirmation. You clearly don't know the roles of the two in TMS.

9. BigE never talks about many important topic of trading It also prove he was a newbie.
The problem here is no one is supposed to spoon feed you with everything they know. This is a thread to discuss a trading system. You can always find other topics of trading in respective threads in FF. Blowing accounts, being scammed, and hoping to be fed with everything, is definitely an act of inexperienced traders

And that, my friend, is Price Action analysis as of BigE. Again there is no reason to spoon feed you with everything.


I see you also unsubscribed from posters here who shares a lot of TDI information daily. Maybe it's time for you to move on and stop creating controversy.

After 3 years it will be proven that TMS don't work TDI don't work for you. All are BS. I am here for a long enough. You have limited knowledge that is why you think TMS and TDI works. That is why I recommend reading books. some of the stupid think they don't need to read books they need TDI for trading success. Your guru is one of them. It is not controversy it is reality.
since you answer, I should give you few lesson- one is stop using tms and tdi in your trading. Develop your trading system by your self. come here just for fun.

From what your posts, self reflections and books you read, I can safely say emotion and psychology is your biggest obstacle.

After all these years of trading, you still make inexperienced mistakes such as being scammed, blowing up accounts, incomplete testing and understanding of a strategy before judgements, and falsely making up conclusions with no evidence to support (guru? Who?)

You still haven’t developed a working strategy for you. I understand you are frustrated but you cannot go around the forum and telling people in each thread (including your own) that trading a strategy does not work. Not to mention calling multiple people names.

If you are here long enough you should know that is against members’ rules.

I don't need tdi to enter here.
I have enter the market after that I see TDI supporting my entry.
I can't remember when I blowing up my accounts. People want I give my all of backtest results here so that they can follow it. People want I have my strategy here so that they can trade it. when I show some part of my strategy or indicator they started to think it is my strategy.
yes I get scam by a prop firm it is a lesson. I should have go with reputed prop firm rather than a new one. I share my experience with other traders so that they learn from my mistake. actually I help them now some people make it my weakness.
ok keep doing what your good at.

Losing trade is part of trading career. when they will realized it I don't know.

If today's BTC Usd daily candle close positive. I may try to enter a trade and hold it for few days toward upside. I can see some upside potential.

If BTC start moving upside. Lot of speculator and trader leave the gold alone and trade BTC. so Gold may move lower or may choppy. Currently gold is in choppy so I am still in the sideline.

17 inside candle and ADX is very low. there is no reason to trade this market not even scalping in the M5.

You know people say market is random. Yes this kind of market move random. To me In this condition keeping open position is flipping a coin.

People say TDI is good indicator that is why I put TDI cross arrow in my chart. Trust me TDI has no real edge. my intention is not to create the controversy My intention is giving you a little light.
